both frustrating and great game to watch.
btw kobe now has 7(1 in playoffs) potential game winning-tying shots blocked in his career.
which is the most underappreciated stat of his top 10 all time career.
most guards dont even have one,he had his first one in his sophomore year.
especially his block on redd back in 04-05 season was one of the best blocked shots i ever seen.

Soundgarden is talking about blocks so I just remembered Phil put Kobe on thornton on the last play and also in the overtime.

You can't always be great, I think Gasol has been the most consistent player on our team this season. Dalembert played great tonight but Gasol would out play him 9 out of 10...he would be Bynum's problem any other night though.

That was a great shot. I thought we had you guys for sure. *tips hat*
I guess the ONLY way to potentially conclude the Kings/Lakers rivalry is with an overtime game. How fitting. The better team ended up winning though. (This time)

We'll be back for that azz next season...

Good lucky next season, this kings' team is the New OKC. Mark my words (well, that depends on cousins not being a complete moron)..

Are you going to support the kings if they move to anaheim?

I kinda wish Cousins was still in the game for that overtime. I don't think Gasol wanted any part of him, especially with 5 fouls. We lost our composure and ran out of gas at the end. We just couldn't score or make plays. The more experienced team prevailed.

Kings4Life. SacTown or otherwise. I've been watching this team for far too long (1993) to jump off the wagon, one way or the other. Honestly, I hope we get to the playoffs next season just so we can play you guys one more time. You have to admit, even when we suck, we still give you guys a good run damn near every time. Is there a more exciting rivalry in the league right now? (other than perhaps Lakers/Celtics)?

Even if they change it to "royals"? But yeh, kings vs. lakers always produce great games. It would be a damn shame if sacramento lost a NBA team while cities like atlanta still have one...

No, it was not thornton.

Yes, I can read your mind.

:)

Since they both play the SG position I was thinking maybe Kobe was on him. If Kobe wasn't on him...then who?

no one to be honest...he did his usual roaming D and whoever was in his vacinity he would guard, it ranged from Evans to Thorton to Beno and I was not surprised he got backdoored by Beno as typical Kobe D, respects no one guards no one.

I wont wish you luck next season like the other fan, I still hope they suck forever  but I would still wish you luck in keeping your team....dont like Dbag owners get to do as they please its unfortunate even as rich as they are they still want to pass the buck onto the citizens to pay for THEIR arena. They can afford to build billion dollar hotels and pocket all their profits they should do the same with the arena

It's all good. I'll still chant "BEAT LA!" forever too.
Our mayor (Kevin Johnson) is gonna be in New York for that meeting tomorrow, and it looks like Chris Webber's on board with something too. So we'll see what happens.
