Everyone manifest Harrison Barnes declaring and stop all this Biyombo crap. 4 solid prospects in Irving/Barnes/Williams/Kanter should give us a nice buffer just in case Stern pulls another fast one. Hopefully we don't drop as far as we can. As a matter of fact, hopefully we get a top-2 pick and have a tough decision!

add in Biyombo, and we've got 6 solid prospects (who could potentially start for us) that we can definitely get no matter what happens in the lotto. I'm so happy we secured that #3 spot without any ties.

Don't do this to yourself guys. Barnes looks like a lock to return. Maybe he surprises everyone and declares (I'd be thrilled), but I wouldn't get your hopes up...

Exactly. He's going back, let's move on.

In preparation for Barnes announcing he is going to return, I just keep thinking of him as Marvin Williams. That seems to help

He's a Luol Deng. Won't be heartbroken if he decides not to declare.

If we manage to get a top 2 pick....Opens up a ton of options. It would just come down to who gets the number 1 pick.

Even if you don't like him you should want him to declare as it gives us more options at the top. I didn't like Sullinger but I definitely wish he had declared.

You people can't be serious about Bismack going top 6.

We should see what comes of the draft workouts before he even becomes a 1st rounder.

top 6 wtf

Potentially good news?

@goodmanonfox: Harrison Barnes still mulling decision. There is not expected to be an announcement today, source told FOXSports.com.

I will barf if we draft Biyombo with our pick. I'm not even kidding.

I think there would be a lot of vomiting. But there is no chance that Colangelo is dumb enough to draft Biyombo. While he obviously struggles to build a winning team, Colangelo is intelligent enough to realize you don't draft an African scrub with a top 6 pick, especially while being without a contract (extension). That said, I am not confident with Colangelo drafting outside of the top 3 in this draft. Assuming Barnes won't be in the draft, that leaves Irving, Williams and Kanter. If Colangelo isn't able to land one of these three he will likely swing and miss on one of Vesely, Val or Walker (all horrendous picks in the 4-6 range). You have to go Knight at #4, and I would put Terrence Jones at #5. Terrence Jones is without question the most undervalued prospect in the lottery. He is at worst a much (five years) younger, rich man's James Johnson. IMO Irving, Williams, Kanter, Knight and Jones are the prospects with the highest ceilings. And I will not watch a game if the Raptors draft Vesely, Walker or Biyombo.

I feel the same way if we draft a Euro with a top 3 pick. I don't know why there is so much hype with Kanter the guy is garbage, he can't even jump 2 inches off the ground.

1. Irving
2. Williams
3. Walker (Barnes)
4. Knight
5. jones
6. Fredette
7. Morris
8. Morris
9. Bruks/Thompson
10. Biyombo

Wow this draft sucks...

I have all the Euros as late second round picks.

I take either Walker or knight.. see how they do in workouts, let them go head to head. I would also like to see what Fredette can do, is he JJ redick 2.0 or more?

Kanter is easily the most skilled big in this draft. You don't see many polished low post bigs anymore.

He might play below the rim but he has the skill/footwork to carve out space and he's big enough that he can put someone on his ass and move them out of the way.

I think you're underrating him quite a bit.

The only downside to him is that he hasn't played competitively in a while so we don't know exactly where his game is at the moment but hopefully the workouts clear that up. Hopefully he goes up against some other bigs to get a good read.

I heard the same crap about Cole last year.. D-League

Truth is I would much rather just keep bargnani at least we know what he can do. The other guy I really like is Josh Selby, I just don't know if he is for real.

What does Cole have to do with Kanter?

Sounds like you're just pulling nonsense out of your ass tbh.

And BTW, Monroe was said to be the most skilled player in last years draft.

You don't remember all the hype about him last year? there where tons of people on this board who told me we would be LUCKY to get such a great prospect. I have the same feeling about Kanter both are busts.

With so many good veteran bigs in FA why take a chance. Draft a PG or SF Because IMHO there are 0 good FA PG's in this years FA

No to mention, Demarcus Cousins is not exactly an athletic big either.
