The Role Players' GOAT. No doubt. f.. Horry.

I still think he should retire next year but I hate more the primadonas that couldn't be bothered to run back and help their teammate.

Oh, for those that didn't watched the game: Gasoft turned the ball over, then flopped and did a ballerina move on the ground, at the same time Bryant decided to check if his sneakers were looking good and Artest was doing what he does best (nothing).

Lamar was the only that ran back to help the team.

PS: I authorize kings fans to use the same pics to define Evans career 5-10 years from now. What a dumb player. lol.

1 on 5??? wow... if that fastbreak was done properly that could have been a highlight reel material. Something Kings' fans would enjoy and Lakers' fans to get disgusted at.

I dunno about Horry. It's Fish and Horry for Role Players' GOAT for me. Both are clutch and and both flop. :P

Nice! It does show one of the things why Lakers need him, still, but you should add at least that 0.4 sec shot (at Spurs) as the sample of his famous bail-outs! :D
The NBA listed his "0.4 Shot" as the 18th-greatest playoff moment of all time.

I always said that fisher is probably the best player to be alone trying to stop a fast break.

I thought we were gonna see a sequence of shots that depicted Fish spotting up and burying that triple at the start of overtime last night. Dude is COLD BLOODED in the clutch and the second the ball left his hands I yelled out "BOOM, HEADSHOT" as I knew there was no doubt that he'd hit it. I know some folks argue "only HOFs in the rafters" but retired #s are for players who put in big time work for the franchise. Lakers need to get to work on retiring B. Scott and Coop's #4 and #21 so that Fish's #2 can be raised one day.

but a few days ago, the OP just really mad on Fish ?? He saying if the Lakers had a better PG, Lakers wont need Fish's clutch shoot, which i dont agree.

That play was horrible... Never seen a 5 on 1 like that, and right when Tyreke did that I said "Wow he's trying to be like Shannon Brown"

Mepatrick, I don't know how to "cut" this part from the video, you know what I mean?

1 on **** 5! Pretty much a gangbang  Poor fishman!

How can this happen in the nba? In a very important game for us... Seriously, how can this happen? Lamar at least ran back but the others? **** them all. Phil should show this on the film session.

For the better or for the worse our roster is very arrogant... Let's see if they can turn on one more time...

I like this aspect more because it shows Fisher's true value... His perseverance is inspiring.

1 on 5 and he didn't gave up... Not only he doesn't give up but he also makes the other team pay lots of time... It's not useless 'hustle'. The bulldog is very smart.

Btw, he blew 3 lay ups late in the 4th, missed a 3 where he tried to draw a foul... But I like how Kobe trusts him. First play of the OT kobe was double teamed and he passes it to fisher and fisher knocks down the 3...

I guess you missed this --- "I still think he should retire next year"

I respect him for what he did for the team but he's a liability. Forcing our old SG and best scorer to guard the athletic PGs just shows that

But our front office managed to sign a worse PG than fisher so... we're stuck with him.

Nah, not even close. Fisher's competition for the GOAT is Horry. If fisher wins one more time he's the role players' GOAT. Period.

If you based that on number of championships won, Horry has 7. :)

Damn this is hard. They're both The RP GOATs!!!

D.Fisher=HARDWORK

They say Kobe's work ethic off the court is incomparable? I say Fisher's work ethic on the court is greater than Kobe's and is almost Jordan-lite.

Any Laker fan that says "f ... Horry" should be ashamed of himself.

Without "Big Shot Rob" Kobe wouldn't be gunning for his 6th title this year.

Fisher's work ethic on court >>> Jordan, Kobe, or every other star!

Yeh, my point is that fisher with 6 > horry with 7. Horry's 7th ring was kinda weak...

But if Fisher retires with 5 gonna be hard to be the unanimously the role players' GOAT!

nobody has hit bigger shots then that of robert horry

horry >>>>> fisher

i love fisher but part of me will always say we wouldn't need fishers clutch shooting if it wasnt for fishers liabilities to put us in those (not all) situations to begin with..

**** it keep doing your thing D fish

The funny thing is that in this very same game fish had a 3 on 1 (second king was behind him) and did exactly what tyreke did, except instead of charging he just fumbled the ball.

Still doesn't make him better than Fisher.

Without "President Fisher" Kobe wouldn't be gunning for his 6th title this year.
