I agree. That would actually be an exciting offence to watch and exciting team as well. Just have to pray D-Williams has the lats to defend 3's, and throw in a defensive C and we're good

Agreed, all three of those guys would be nice options. Plus, Ed can probably develop a nice little offensive game, which with his added weight has me reminiscing about JO during his Indiana days. Then, you sign a guy like DeAndre Jordan or take a shot with Greg Oden and I begin watering at the mouth.

I agree. I see DWill as the one with the most star potential. Sorry Irving fans but a lineup with Bayless/DeRozan/Williams/Davis excites me more than Irving/DeRozan/Johnson/Davis.

7th best 3 pct in ncaa history and best in the past two decades. And someone on here a few pages ago was concerned about his 3 point shooting.

To be fair, he only took 2 attempts and made 1 per game. So I think it speaks more to his BBIQ than his shooting ability.

I wouldn't say irving not getting the shots at the all star game, him and anyone of them dwill/wall/rondo can slide to the 2 guard in the all star game. With Ray Allen's game declining, i doubt there's much options at sg other than dwade.

Plus, we'd have a pretty big lineup too, even if Andrea is back. If you assume that DeMar will be stronger, Ed will be stronger, and we know that Derrick has enough bulk to overpower SFs, and then Jerryd is above average as well at PG.

Am I a crazy homer if I believe this is what we could potentially have if we get DWill in the draft and Deandre Jordan in free agency?

Bayless - Billups
DeRozan - Ginobli (role, not the same style of play)
D. Williams - Beasley (with heart)
Davis - JO
Jordan - Extremely poor man's Dwight Howard

 Way to keep a level playing field. VC's college days were 12-13 years ago though, so it's not really in the Griffin/Williams discussion.

still IMO the greatest dunker (w/ some game) that i've ever seen.

I don't know if we'll do anything in FA, or at least I don't know how that would work after July 1. I guess after the new CBA is established, free agency will follow?

I think it's much more likely that we trade for a 5, scarce as they are these days.

You seem to think you're alone in having those thoughts for some reason.

That line-up would put us in the conversation for the best young team on the come up. I think BC has to strongly consider doing something like this, depending on the new CBA as you said.

Although Chad Ford is saying the right things in both of these cases, he knows just as much as we do.

I wouldn't mind drafting Williams this season if we get the 2nd pick. Another athlete would be nice to add to this team. This team is finally starting to get exciting after a somewhat boring post-Vince era.

I just want to see plays like this on the court again:

Me too, especially sprinting back on D in middle of celebration.

Kyrie throwing it up to DeMar, Sonny, JJ, etc OR JBay throwing running down the middle with DeMar and DWill running alongside would bring back memories of the VC era.

I know Irving was the obvious #1 but with the way Bayless played over the last stretch of the season...do you think we can deal Irving for another impacting player...that is if we got #1 (knock the wood x oo).
