Szczesney should be fine as long as his finger is healed. He's still been training, it's just one finger.

that's good then.

i don't know a thing about keepers so i figured he probably wouldn't want to risk catching anything with that hand and maybe reinjuring it

I like Gameiro because he's so different than our current strikers. He is small, fast, and a good finisher. Similar to Eduardo in his ability to finish, and find/exploit space. Bendtner and Chamakh are too similar to be useful, especially since neither are great finishers.

Van Persie's our only real finisher, and we really don't get him for enough of the year for that to work.
A Gameiro-type perhaps, that can play both centrally instead of Robin and wide alongside Chamakh, would be beneficial.

Yeah, but even if Torres doesn't score for the rest of the year I doubt Chelsea gives up on him and sells him in our price range.

Looks like Vermaelan is going to play in some reserve games to get his fitness back. Doubt he'll play for the first team this year, but it's promising news for the future.

Looks like Sagna, and Song are both doubts for Sunday. I was hoping they'd both be back.

i don't think it's ugly, but i didn't see the need for a departure from the yellow.

it might be sacrilegous, but i'm not really a fan of the anniversary crest. it's sooooo big

That is an absolute disgrace.

If they're gonna go with the non-traditional colors, I don't see why they can't bring back the redcurrants. Those are absolute class, IMO.

Now that I've had a look at it again, I think it might be the training top for next year and not the actual away kit.

The complete white shadow logo is usually reserved for training tops, and official kits usually have some sort of marker around the collar. This one has the Nike and Dri-Fit logo on it.

Plus, there's no way Nike would put out something that crummy for a top team under their portfolio. Absolute no way. I'm willing to be that's the training top.

That's more like it. That is absolutely amazing!
It feels a bit like the French away kit from before Nike took over but the red from the Crest and the Emirates sponsorship gives a nice accent and the gold wreath surrounding the crest is awesome!

I'm pretty sure the blue one is correct, white might be our third strip.

I saw no Spurs at all in that, I thought it looked more like French Away or even Paris St. Germain. Spurs usually look like complete crap.

In fact, I thought the other one looked more like a Spurs kit. That diagonal cut reminding me of the bib that they wear.

Yeah I saw the reference on another site and the colors are based off that but the design just looks like the bib thing that the Spurs have for this year's design.

Arsenal sure could use the Asian market money that teams like Man U and Barca have been tapping into for a while now.

He's probably our most promising wing prospect. Wellington looks a fantastic talent, but his attitude issues could cause him some problems.

Arsenal have agreed to a pre-season tour in Asia prior to next year to raise more funds.

It depends on if he can get a work permit in England. He may have to spend another year in Holland, unless he racks up some national squad games soon. His overall play looks promising, he has pace to burn, strength, and consistently runs at, and beats his man.
