Big win by the Preds last night. I think they have a really good shot at beating the Ducks, Ellis looked shaky and the Ducks really don't have any other options in net.

Well Emery came in and he was pretty good in the 3rd period. Ellis and the Ducks defense is really just perfect for the Preds offense though. They don't have the great one on one players and the really skilled forwards. Ellis loves giving up rebounds and the Ducks don't have a very good defense, so with Ellis giving up rebounds (and being mediocre anyways) and the Ducks defense they're bound to score at least a few goals. If Rinne is on top of his game and the defense helps out, which happened last night the Preds should win the series.

Big win by the Wings! Hudler is a unsung hero for us the guy makes big plays and Howard was a beast in the 2nd and 3rd periods!

Lets hope we take games 2, 3 and 4! The Canucks looked really good as well. Hope the Bruins, Sharks and Caps all fall flat on their asses!

I believe CBC.ca has legal streams so you guys in the States and around the world who can't get the games might want to look into that.

I believe CBC only works if you live in Canada.

That OT was intense...tons of back and forth. Too bad LA couldn't pull it out though

Jared Stoll will be suspended for game 2 of the Kings Sharks series for his hit on Ian White.

Hey, the Blackhawks figured out how to score a goal.

Ben Smith and Corey Crawford have been the only two guys on this Hawks team that have shown up. Toews, Kane, Sharp, Hossa, Keith, Hjalmarsson, Campbell have all been terrible. This season has been a tale of those guys going south at different times, but they've all picked a horses*** time to call it a day. Absolutely maddening.

I'll be at Games 3 and 4 and can't really drink at either. Might be a long few nights.

Was gonna flip on Coyotes-Wings, saw the score on ESPN's Bottomline and thought better of it. Yipes.

Watching the Coyotes trying to get the puck in the Red Wings zone after they pulled Bryzgalov was sad.

Yeah that was not a pretty sight. Detroit has been pretty darn good these first two games. Lets hope we can take one in Phoenix and finish em in five.

And Bobby Ryan absolutely deserves a suspension. You can't be doing that crap

Bobby Ryan suspended two games for the video above.

And with that piece of good news, I'm off to watch the Predators affiliate in the playoffs. :)

^ two games is right. In the regular season you up it, but two games in the playoffs is a good chunk of time
