Sources say that while Barnes ideally would like to return, the opportunity to be a top-three pick in the draft is weighing heavily on him. ESPN.com

I don't think Williams at the 3 would be a bad option, he's got skills that seem to compliment a lot of the other guys on the roster. The real problem is bringing in another new guy to play major minutes.

Derrick Williams seems like Beasley, except even more of a 4.

Maybe. The difference between the two is Williams plays to his strengths whereas Beasley just wants to take jump shots.

#2 pick - Williams
#3 pick - Barnes
#4 pick - trade down for Biyombo

I would say...#1 Irving or else trade it. I love Barne's but we'd have to move Wes and Beasley probably.

or trade down and Get Biyombo/Burks/Klay Thompson(2 of them with the Grizz pick and ours then)
or....trade it for Bogut.

Why Thompson? The guy is a shooter who can't shoot. We already have that in Ellington.

40% from 3 on over 7 attempts per game? that's excellent shooting, plus 5.4 ft attempts per game, 22/5/4/2 steals/1 block is excellent production, and having an elite shooter at the 2 spot would really help.

Plus Ellington is a good shooter, he just can't create his own shot that well..

Looking forward, making improvements to his shot selection, consistency hitting open jumpers, and passing game are all welcome developments for Thompson, but it should be noted that he started out last season at a great pace only to slow down as the season went on and conference play got underway. While he's played well against good competition thus far this year, it still remains a concern that the same thing could happen again, and it will be critical for his stock how he can maintain his improvements over the course of the season.

I still don't see why he would be a target for this team though. He's not an athlete, so it's questionable whether anything outside of his shooting will translate, and he's a defensive liability. Considering the log jam this team already has on the wings...why bother investing in another average one?

Due to his offensive limitations, Biyombo doesn't fit on just any NBA team—he's not someone who can be expected to generate his own offense, and probably needs another skilled big man next to him, as well as a creative point guard. The skills he does have are highly coveted, though, and any team looking to upgrade its defensive and rebounding presence will surely give him a look.

Future improvement is something that should also be accounted for -- it's safe to say he's nowhere near a finished product. His draft stock is a topic that will be heavily debated in the next two months.

Damn. P. Jones, Barnes and Sully all going back to school. Unless the NBA makes kids play two college seasons before entering the draft, next year's draft is going to stacked. The upcoming frosh class looks really solid. It wouldn't shock me if none of Jones, Barnes or Sully are top 5 picks next year. How did we get stuck w/o a pick ? Oh that's right, Adrian Lima's husband.
