Give Drew game ball...
... for his idea to play Collins (also Zaza and other backup Centers, but mostly Collins). It may seem, in hindsight, obvious but no one else did it until he did.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Re: Give Drew game ball...
I think we are the only team built to use such strategy against Dwight. Like you say though, Its kinda of obvious to deploy such a strategy.
If a game ball is given out, lets give it to Josh Powell. Dude took a beating, but lasted quite awhile. If he was overpaid, he would have been worth his money tonight.
One game at a time, but Hawks are in control to take this thing in 5 if they want to. GEUAX HAWKS!!!

If it goes to a Center, it has to be Collins.
Imagine if Collins could go 10/10....

Wow. Talk about getting ahead of ourselves.
Friday people (fans, pundits, players) were talking about us getting swept.
Calling for Coach Drew's head. Now, after one game, we're taking the series in five?
The playoffs are all about adjustments. There's alot of ball left to be played. Let's take it one game at a time, guys.

Thank you. The Hawks have won 4 games in a row vs the Magic and things and there's obviously reasons for optimism....but could we please stop acting like they are somehow in the drivers seat because they won the 1st game?

Re: Give Drew game ball...
Drew does get credit for sticking with the strategy (he almost blew it in the last regular season game vs Orlando by switching off), but Jason Collins was signed to play against Dwight last year. He sat on the bench all season to have in the playoffs and then Woodson chickened out on the strategy playing him only 6 minutes in the series. It was an organizational strategy and the credit should be shared by many, especially Collins himself for getting into better shape this year. For all I complain about Drew letting starters push him around, he's miles ahead of Woodson in bravery.

Nobody said the Hawks will take it easily, but they have taken HC away from Orlando. For now, the Hawks have thrown a nice initial blow to Orlando. Orlando may come out next game with more of a team effort, but you have to like our chances in this series. I think I was one of the people that felt Orlando was very beatable, and Hawks wouldn't necessarily get swept, so I will stay optimistic about them winning in 5. Like I say, one game at a time, so that mean I haven't really guaranteed the series..

Re: Give Drew game ball...
I agree with Drew leaving Powell in there to get whooped and save Twin and Zaza for the 2nd half.
ED maybe folks nationally can see why Woodhead's not here anymore, just for what you stated, especially between these 2 teams the last 2 seasons.
