I don't think driving in the city is that hard. I always drive down there because I hate taking public transportation. Being a cab driver in the city seems like it is very hard though.

Hey I never said driving in the city would be fun, I'm trying to argue that it's not impossible like people here are trying to make it out to be. Of course you have to learn ****, that's just how life is. Nothing's ever handed to you or implanted in your brain, otherwise we'd never have to go to college because we'd know everything! College isn't easy but you get through it and pass it, driving in the city isn't easy but it's not ****ing playing a professional basketball game either.

I don't really know if the risk is worth the reward. I have fun in my life without it.

yeah, on the one hand I'd say it might be fun for you to try it but I'm not going to advocate it because I can just imagine you beginning a long slide where you ruin your life by becoming some drug addict haha.

also, I just want to say that I would be pretty psyched myself to get some piff laced with heroin. the street price would mean that was pretty good bang for your buck

I mean, I highly doubt I'll get through life without trying it... just don't really think I'll become a user, you know?

hm, just saw this ad, better be careful

If you know all the streets in the city then you'll be fine. Just make sure you can deal with constant traffic. In my opinion College is not about learning "facts" it's more about problem solving.

Also make sure you have good people skills. You'll get the occasional passenger who doesn't want to pay or makes a scene to get out of paying.

I should go to Rutgers and hit up some parties. Cause I'm a party animal, yeah. And get drunk off my arse.

It's been almost 24 hrs and I still feel hung over. Thank goodness Da Knicks are playing tomorrow.

Knicks 110
Celtics 99

Book it.

I'm out.

Really it dont matter. Have you ever seen a newly 21 year old wet behind the ears out of town, collage student, cab driver before? Its not worth thinking about. You wont get the job.

They need people who know the streets. Know the city. The back ways and all the street names, buildings, business, restaurants and hot spots. Who have experience driving. Who are willing to work long hours sitting in a hot drivers seat butt and arm pits stanking taking abuse from impatient suit and ties or shady runs.

You not going to get a job driving a cab. LOL. Get real. Fold Polo's until you get a degree.

Never underestimate the strength of knowledge.

Bring back the physical game and send the softies home.
