As someone who has followed the Grizzlies since their inaugural game here in Vancouver in the mid nineties and was at that game, and suffered during their early years, and as someone who was devastated when they left Vancouver, I can honestly say I'm proud of this team regardless where they now call home.

Like Kevin McHale said, when the Spurs made runs a couple of times to take the lead Memphis could have easily folded but as we know this is a team that doesn't give an inch anymore and they battled back.

Tony Allen might just be one of the best free agent signings in the history of the Grizzlies. Who would have thought that last summer?

Nice win by the Grizzlies. I remember when the Bulls played them this season that I was impressed by how hard and physical they played. They reminded me of the Skiles Bulls teams, only with better balance and talent, they just scrap their way through and aren't intmidated by anyone.

I hope your team can keep it up and make this a good series. Not many teams are getting easy wins in the first round so far.

Solid win. We pounded it in the paint, but still finished ~15 less than our average, we also lost the rebounding battle, and missed key free throws down the stretch. My point: we did not play our best, and we still won on the road against the number 1 seed.

This will be a very interesting series.
