trey johnson.....

Post#1 » by robg146 » Sat Apr 16, 2011 12:19 am

can/will he be somewhat effective against point guards and allow the big and forwards to play their own man? will he be abe to penetrate/score more effectively than fish/blake? esp since he was a leading scoring guard in the d league.........and one last question that's totally irrelevant......can wwe beat the heat in 7 games without hca? i'm not so worried about the western conference or the bulls.....

well who's gonna take us out? i mean i we can slow down the pg penetration and get some decent guard bench scoring....then we're golden....we're too big for the thunder....i cant see perkins alone handling pau (if he comes to play and toughens up)....or bynum (too big).....ron artest will deal withdurant and kobe and lo will counter the production from westbrook and harden....spurs are too old and small.....nuggets? no.....mavs? no......portland? nope....i'm just worried about mia....i dont see who stops lebron and/or wade.....and pau sucks against bosh.....bron/wade are going to be too much for us i think.....

Isn't Trey Johnson a SG will even be playing D against PG's. It will be interesting to see if Shannon doesn't get out of his 3 month slump will Phil put Trey in during the playoffs. If he performs the Lakers could already have Shannon's replacement if he opts out.

Agree.......let's keep things in prospective and concentrate on the opponent in front of us. It's a disrespect to go over board.

6'5" that he is listed at is extremely generous.... but in the intern im really excited to see what he brings to the team, i think he will give good minutes off the bench in each series especially during one of those times that phil puts in a scrub line up to bring some energy back to the team

Well, based on his first game, it looks like he's more willing to shoot than Steve Blake is. At least he's not scared.

I like him already.

its sad that a guard straight out of the D-league can look that good in comparison to what we have.
