This really should be a very winnable series, but it's hard to count on it. Hope to see better pitching performances out of Z and Garza this week. Can't expect too much from Russel tomorrow.

Zambrano keeps winning despite not pitching particularly consistent. Gotta love the random run support... 2/3 Cubs. Do it.

Oh hey we won. So we'll lose tomorrow and win Wednesday. Sounds like a plan.

We had the same problem to start out last year too. Kept floating around .500, but couldn't ever get over that mark, until we started dropping from there.

I'm still hopeful with a healthy pitching staff we'll start winning more games. Z looked pretty solid last night, albeit against a pretty offensively weak team. It's just too bad that it took a 10th inning walk off to win that one.

It'll be a cold one tonight, with expected game time temps at 37, but rain is supposed to hold off until 9 pm, so the game is expected to start on time.

Perfectly set-up for a split. Lose the first, win the second. 8-9, 9-9

Garza is pitching game 1, and it looks like Russell has the night game.

Yeah, I looked at the standings yesterday for the first time in awhile and I was shocked to see we were only a 1/2 game out.

Yeah I looked last night. I guess the Reds have been struggling.
