Mistake. Top 3 pick, you gotta go. Get your diploma in the off season taking classes. But he can only hurt his stock at this point by having an injury or something. Oh well. Best of luck to him.

Crap. We have got to get some luck from the ping pong balls or there will be nobody left to draft.
Draft Express top ten now looks like this:
1. Kyrie Irving
2.Derek Williams
3. Jonas Valanciunas
4. Kemba Walker
5. Brandon Knight
6. Bistek Biyombo
7. Enes Kanter
8. Jan Vesely
9. Donatus Montiejiunas
10. Terrence Jones

wow, besides Williams and Irving everyone else sucks. Next draft will be stacked though, holy crap. We need to acquire some picks for next year. What was the deal with our 2012 pick again? How deep is the protection?

Let's hope we get lucky in ping pong. If not, I have no problem with us tanking next year. We'll start temple the entire season.

Wow I see ZERO Andre Miller in Knight. Knight actually as the ability to get off as a scorer. Miller likes to bully his man around as he's a big PG. He likes to back down his man, also bully his way into the lane and dish assists. Knight is more of a scoring PG, has a better stroke now than Miller ever will. Miller is nowhere in the neighborhood of Knights range.

You are talking about Andre Miller in the nba. I am talking about Andre Miller at Utah. Neither of us know what kind of pro Knight will be. All we know is the game that we have seen at Kentucky. Every guard with nba calibre can stroke it in college. It is a different ball game in the nba when the three point line is further back, and stronger quicker defenders are in their face.

Miller at Utah was never the potent scorer that Knight was even in H.S. Knight can score from basically anywhere on the floor. Miller bullies himself in the lane and scores. That's the same thing he did at Utah. He couldn't shoot then and can't shoot now lol.

If that can be confirmed, I would take him for sure, especially if he's 16-17.

He was 16/17 when he got to spain. That was a couple years ago. Now he's 18 going on 19.

Alec Burks said he will only stay in the draft if he knows he is a top 15 pick.

With all these kids dropping out he's shaping up to be a top 5 pick!!

Because the cartilage in Biyombo's hand hadn't fused at that point, the specialist came to the conclusion that he could be 16 or 17 at most, but not 18, when growth plates are expected to be closed.

I could really see the Raps taking Bitchsmack if they are drafting 3rd overall and Irving/Willimas are off the board.

Isn't Bitchsmack just what they need at the 4 next to Bargs at the 5? An intense, physical, defensive, balls out leader type?

Who says those xrays are not faked?

Anyway, it is Kyrie or Derrick. nothing much to get from this draft. So second pick is equal to first pick in sum. So we first or second or gtfo :D

Haven't you just summed up why they won't draftit him because it would make too much sense? But he's na international player so they might pick him after all.

Irving, Williams, Kanter, Knight and maybe Biyombo are the only ones I would want to pay top ten money. If those 5 are gone we need to trade our picks. . . for a player (Stephen Curry please), or trade down or esp trade for 2012 picks.

The other guys? Here is a list of Draft Express rated players expected to go 2nd rd or lower, all of whom I'd be willing to pick as 2nd rd or free agent value plays compared to gambling guaranteed first rd money on the likes of Kemba Walker and Terrence Jones (the idea being to save cap space for 2012).

31. Reggie Jackson
34. Tyler Honeycutt
39. Kyle Singler
40. Keith Benson
46. Malcolm Lee
47. Ben Hansborough
48. Charles Jenkins
55. DeAndre Liggins
58. Jon Leuer
61. Norris Cole
62. Giorgi Shermandini
67. Jordan Williams
73. Josh Harrellson
78. Chandler Parsons

We'll have zero chance to trade the #9, #10 or #11 overall pick this year for a top 10 pick next year let alone multiple 2012 first round picks.

You know what? Let's just draft well, and build on the team we had at the end of the year. We have some pretty good youthful talent on the team. If we draft well, we can add 2 more pieces. No need to bemoan what players are in or out of the draft. The whole art is to pick the right player when your pick in up........but a little help from the ping pong balls would be welcomed news, too. :-)

sad but true. we'll be bad enough to have our own top 5-10 pick in '12. just looking to maybe have multiple picks next yr instead of this.
