Man how many guys have had the "antidote" for Silva? Everyone said Vitor's standup was too fast and brutal for Anderson and Anderson kicked his face into the next county. Chael had the "antidote" and got subbed. Lot of people said Forrest pressuring Silva would be something he hasn't dealt with and make it a tough fight, we saw how that worked. Seriously, everything that's ever been thrown at him he's dispatched easily and each time (albeit might just be hyping a fight) it's supposed to be the "answer". Let's just realize one thing, there is no answer. None. He will lose when he feels like it, or when someone gets insanely lucky. And I hope I'm wrong cause I hate the dude. He will destroy GSP too, IMO.

Yeah it might be hypebeasting, but I really thing Jon Jones is the only one who can beat him right now.

Ummmm, Chael had the antidote for 4 1/2 rounds of the fight where Anderson Silva entire game was effectively neutered by Sonnen's wrestling. But then again maybe we were watching different fights.

Whether he subbed him 30 seconds or in the last 30 seconds of the fight, the end result was the same wasn't it?

Yea. A lot of hyperbole going on here. "Everyone" thought Vitor's stand-up was too good and that Chael "had the antidote".

I guess that's why Silva is always the heavy favorite.

Easy, killer. The end result was the same. But the technique was effective. Anderson can be taken down and pounded on.

Why are you harping on semantics?

I am being a little extreme, true. I guess my point is that yeah that worked once, but at this point it's perfectly believeable to expect Silva to make the changes needed to make sure that doesn't happen again. And honestly, at this point in his career, is it totally out of the question to think that Silva somewhat knew what he was doing the whole time?
