Really? You're glad he failed, because that makes you right?

Huh?
What part of my last statement says or implies that I'm glad he failed? I said I'm glad when this thread gets bumped. There's a big difference.

Meh. I don't think too many people expected he'd be some kind of savior. It was a shot in the dark, might as well take those on a rebuilding team.

Re: Yi to the Wizards for Ross
For rebuilding teams I'd rather have 5 junk yard dawgs as the last five guys on the roster, ala Jeffers and Singleton, who will fight, scrap and absolutely leave everything on the table...heart, hustle, grit, determined to maximize potential, etc. Especially if wins meant nothing to the team this season, per Teddy. Their work ethic and tough play will eventually rub off on the other players. I'm convinced that Singleton was one of the primary reasons Blatche played like a man last year.

Nevermind that, Yi doesn't need anybody's help to suck; he's not the bad basketball Tinkerbell.
But what's this about how right you were?

You said - "It's good to look back and see how right I was about him." Doesn't that mean you're glad he failed here?

They're on google just like everything else in the universe. Now whether they were made in genuine appreciation I can only guess. But if Mike Harris gets a highlight video (and it's awesome, by the way) why not Quinton Ross?

Seriously, nearly half the board was right on Yi being a mistake. Although it seemed many got there hopes up after Yi's "breakthrough" performance in the World Championships last summer.
BTW, I didn't know Yi still had supporters. Dude is a disaster on the court. His name should be Y.I.Suck. If he's in the NBA next year, it's solely for marketing reasons.
