Considering how successful he's been in the 2nd best domestic league in the world, I don't think this is much of a possibility.

His offensive game is definitely raw, but considering how young he is and how little basketball experience he has, there's reason to believe that he can improve upon it quite a bit. Even if he can't though, just look at Dwight Howard's early career. Based in large part on elite physical tools and dunking ability, Dwight was able to be a 20 ppg scorer.

I believe Dwight had some perimeter skills coming out of high school. I also saw Krap compare him to Noah, but Noah could dribble and pass coming out of college. I haven't even seen Bimbo on You Tube highlights though, so I really have no idea how good he is. I'm just judging by what I've read.

Worm Guts, you owe it to yourself to at least watch this video and decide for yourself whether you think the hype is justified:

I'm on the Biyombo bandwagon.

If we don't get the #1 or #2 pick I wouldn't mind picking him up with our own pick.
Gotta make sure he's really not older than 20, though. Seeing his face he could be anywhere between 18 and 25. I can't judge it.

Unless more information surfaces, there is no reason to worry about his age. Apparently his agent has x-rays of his wrists showing his "bone age" and he's willing to share these x-rays with any NBA team that wants them. I'm no doctor, but apparently these x-rays are a legit way to prove that his age has not been falsified.

Would you trust an agent? I wouldn't. Most of these guys only have their own bank account in their mind. :dontknow:
Make him pass an X-Ray in the USA without his agent being in controll and then I'd be willing to pick him #3.

In all honesty i think biyombo is the best talent in this years draft

I stopped watching at 5 seconds in when he said "power forward". Why would we want this guy?

Man this draft is gonna suck, now that Barnes is not declaring. I hope the sixers / hawks get so depressed in the playoffs they'll want to rebuild and we can grab us a star for that pick.

Well then you missed out. He definitely has the size to play C most of the time, and the versatility to play PF when we need him there. If you would have watched the rest you would know why we would want this guy.

1. Size and length to play C
2. Elite Athleticism
3. Elite defensive potential
4. Very good defender right now
5. Finishes strong
6. Very young
7. High level production in a strong league despite very little experience
8. 6&7 combined = very high ceiling
9. Great motor
10. Great personality and leadership potential
11. Great fit with the team (as a C)

Irving and Williams are definitely better talents (especially Irving), but Biyombo is right up there.

If he played ball in the States, he'd be considered the best prospect.

The mOst impressive thing in his game in my opinion is how fast he leaves the ground. Then you throw in his strength athleticism and finishing. Based on potential there is no one in this draft who can come close

Watch, I bet we take him. Also, I bet he's worth it in a couple years. The trick is to trade Wes + whatev for a legit starter and then play Thompson behind him. I think he's got a slightly more versitile game than Ellington and makes a better prospect because of it.

Why would we take him? You honestly think they'll give up on the 4th pick of last year's draft for Klay Thompson?

?
He's suggesting that they use Johnson as a trade chip for a veteran starter.

Now, I don't know who he thinks he can get with Johnson as the main trade piece, but whatever.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I'm not saying I'm opposed to drafting him, I just have a hard time believing that a player a with really funny name will ever be any good. "Bismack Biyombo" sounds more like a prepackaged Mexican pastry than a future NBA all star. After we got burned by the likes of "Ndudi Ebi" and "PooPoo Richardson" I would think we would have learned our lesson.

I like all of those names. Hakeem Olajowan. Shaquille O'Neal. Those names just sound cool to me. Dirk Nowitzki, Dirk the Daring, Dirk Diggler, anyone named Dirk is automatically super cool.

"Serge ibaka" probably has the weakest name on the list but his name rhymes with "Chewbacca," which is Star Wars related and anything Star Wars related is automatically cool, so he gets in that way.

I admit though that I'm still confused about Mr. Shammgod. I figured anyone named "God" would be a lock for a successful NBA career. Can't win them all I guess.

Hyperbole aside, Bizzy should be in the top 3 of the Wolves draft board. Irving, Bismack, Valanciunas- your order of preference

Come away with one of those guys or trade the pick.
