Cecil down, Woodward up: revolving door's a'swinging

Post#1 » by YogiStewart » Thu Apr 21, 2011 6:29 pm

as per Wilner

#Bluejays ship Brett Cecil down to Las Vegas; Chris Woodward called up. Shocker, but Cecil needs to get straight and #jays need bench help.

Needed to happen theres something wrong with him, at the vary least he has no confidence. Does him no good running out there and getting hammered every 5 nights. They can't call up Listch for a few days so could get a little interesting with the off day they could run a 4 man rotation moving Morrow into the 4th spot and Jo Jo into the 3rd. Or could call up Mills/Stewart, on the other hand they could have Zep make a spot start.

Disappointing news! I probably would have given him a start or two more, tbh..
Btw, half of our hitters are triple A scrubs.. they couldn't have picked someone else besides Chris **** Woodward?

LMAO Woodward? This team is in such a mess. Horrible offense and horrible rotation to start the season.

Nix, McDonald, Patterson, Woodward, Rivera on our roster at the same time? wtf? Last time i checked this isn't LV.. Damn, i wish we spent some loot on a couple above average bench players on 1 year deals.. :-? watching the above scrubs on a daily basis make my eyes bleed..

Good. You can't pitch in this league if you have absolutely no confidence in yourself. And pitching on the road in Texas and New York isn't exactly the place to regain that.

It's time to right a wrong and bring Litsch back.

Me neither. I did a double take to make sure it was that Chris Woodward.

What?

Just last week you were saying it would be a horrible move to send Cecil down to triple A.

I was in the same boat...until Cecil's post-game comments. His confidence seems to be shot; he shouldn't be in Las Vegas long (certainly no more than 20 days, which would burn an option), but he does need a couple starts to cool down.

Yeah, things change. Like Cecil admitting that he's a complete wreck mentally.

Drafting 12 Jays to my fantasy team turned out to be a pretty bad idea.

Coming into the season with Marcum traded, I thought Brett Cecil was the most stable guy we had in the rotation...... Not an ace, but a solid 13-15 wins.

i was so wrong
