Some really feel Christian is Championship material? I understand he has been underutilized but I just can't imagine him winning either of the major Championships. I don't keep track of title reigns anymore, but it is sad to think Edge won it 11 times. He will be missed.

While not on the same scale, I thought he was great with his run of the NWA title in TNA.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a widely held view, but there is a view among some that one of the reasons Christian was never elevated is because Vince blames him for turning large swathes of the crowd against Cena. In 05 Cena was the champ and a super hot babyface loved by everyone. Right before he was drafted to Raw, Christian started calling him out referring to him as 'Marky Mark' saying he 'talked like Snoop Dogg but looked like Corey Haim' and they had a short program right before Christian left. That short program was the first time that basically anyone was cheering against Cena since he turned face.

Re: WWE: Edge's legacy
Always loved Edge from his early days in the Brood to his Rated R days and feud vs Cena.
He wasn't necessarily the main guy, and felt his push to the title was always overshadowed by other superstars, but whenever he was in the ring or on the mic there weren't many better.
Always put on entertaining matches, and took more risks than just about anyone, especially in all of those TLC matches.
I definitely know he'll be in the HOF and hope to some day see him back in some capacity with the WWE.

Yep. That started the whole era where WWE was shoving Cena down our throats, even though other guys were way more over with the crowd (Christian, Edge, Jericho)

While I mentioned the view, I don't necessarily buy it. I think the primary reason swathes of the crowd turned against Cena is the one most ascribe to, they sanitized his charachter and made him this super-cartoony charachter.
Cena was still really over after he had that feud with Christian and after he had that feud with Y2J before he left the first time. Once he came back perhaps Jericho was more over as a heel but comparing Cena's face reaction to Jericho's heel reaction that's comparing apples to oranges. Edge was perhaps more over but he was on SD almost immediately after he turned face.

Re: WWE: Edge's legacy
Cena just got exposed, plain and simple. Fueding with Kenzo Suzuki and Rene dupree in the mid card on smackdown is one thing. Fueding with Jericho and Angle on Raw in the main event is another. His talent level is not up to par with the push he is getting.
