- I was raised with the Lakeshow, but it didn't take...I called Nick "Potato Head" and Campbell "Camel"
- I was a huge Shaq fan and I guess we just lucked out he came to the Lakers
- I named my dog Kobe his rookie year (little guy's still around)
- I remember the headline when Del Harris was fired: Del Deleted
- When Vlade tipped that ball out I looked away from the TV and didn't see Horry hit the shot (luckily it's replayed often in the playoffs)
- I called the Lakers winning with .4 (had no clue it'd be Fish).
- Didn't watch the Finals that year with Malone and Payton, because that team lacked heart
- Agreed with keeping Kobe over Shaq, but am still thankful for Shaq
- Joined the board to write about how losing Laron Profit had caused the team to lose 5 games in a row
- Convinced Kwame could have been a huge difference maker on defense, that he got a bad wrap
- Still waiting for Vlade/Brian Grant to play
- Thought fans didn't support Lamar enough when he was going through adverse times
- Want Lamar to retire a Laker
- The length of Luke's contract is insane, I don't care if he shot 50% from the 3 for his career, a guy with his injury history shouldn't be given that many years unless he's a franchise player.
- Is harsher on Kobe than any player, but that's because I've watched him grow up, he's too smart to be so oblivious at times (still will go down as my favorite player of all time. the most technical player I have ever seen, and my own personal Rudy Ruettiger).

- Was born into a Dynasty fanbase in the making .
My folks took me to the 82' Championship Parade as I was a 4 M/O baby.
-The Lakers won 9 NBA titles during My Existence on Mother Earth thus far.
-At 6 were I turned old enough to hoop, I witnessed the end of the Magic Era
and the start of the Jordan era. Aka Sedale Threatt curling left off the Vlade pick/handoff.
20 Footers all day.
-Currently still own A Sedale Threatt, Anthony Peeler, Eddie Jones, Cedric Ceballos, and a Ronny Turiaf Laker jersey.
-In 99' aka "the Half Season" the Lakers would of beaten the Spurs if we would of never traded away Eddie Jones and Elden Campbell for J.R Reid and Glen Rice.
Hahaha. Me and my peoples called Nick , "Quik" and Elden , "Can't Count On Campbell" LoL
80's Lakers vs 2K Lakers would be one hell of a show.
Magic/Norm Nixon Vs Lamar/Derek Fisher
Coop/Wilkes/Byron Scott/ Vs Kobe
Mychal Thompson/Big Game James/ Vs Artest/Rick Fox
Bob Mcadoo/Rambis Vs Pau/Robert Horry
Kareem Vs Shaq/Andrew/Pau
"Art of War" PAT RILEY Vs "The Book of Zen- The Path to Inner Peace" PHIL JACKSON
3 smileys for the 3 peat Run.
+1 on the embarrassing Laker fans.
Embarrassing Los Angeles Fans in General.

A lot of Lakers fans say the only Celtic they have any respect for is Ray Allen.. I haven't liked him since he talked **** about Kobe back in 05.
I'm starting to admire the Heat. This happened yesterday. I still despise them.
Celtics chemistry was a thing of beauty til the trade.
A lot of "Lakers fans" embarrass me and are straight up idiots.
I yell at Ron Artest all the time, cringe when he does anything on offense. But these last few games it's been a lot better.
For some reason back during the Kings/Lakers days, I liked Bobby Jackson and Gerald Wallace. I just liked the fire Bobby brought and thought Gerald should have gotten more playing time. Now looking back, I have a lot of respect for C-Webb as a person and player and Bibby's clutch. Vlade by that time was whatever, don't care for Peja, and I **** forever will hate Christie.
Kobe is overrated these days. He's a top 3-5 player in the league, but not the best. His defense is overrated, his clutch is overrated, and I've never seen an elite player have so many bad games all the time.. but he's still my favorite player in the league.
I hate the scowl, it's fake. I looove when Kobe is really mad and yells or tries to rip off his jersey after a sick play or and1 at the end of the game... no scowl.
I teared up after game 4 in 08, and after game 5 in 09.
I hate all the Celtics but they're sooo good.
I think Luke Walton is gay.
I liked Sasha. I used to be called the Machine in freshman year (07-08). I have a Sasha #18 shirt (those jersey style shirts).
I spend way too much on the Lakers, I sorta got let go of my previous job due to the Lakers.
I can't watch a game really if the score is spoiled.
I wear Lakers apparel every day and only days when the Lakers play.
Lebron is **** incredible. But I stopped defending him after the decision and after everyone can finally see the type of person he is.
Reading the transcript of what Kobe said to the detectives after the rape **** was... weird.

Re: Confessions of a Laker Fan
If the Lakers continue to play the way they are, and they somehow winthe championship...Kobe will still win MVP, even with Bynum & Odom doing more work.
I actually admire Shannon Browns athleticism, and I feel he has huge trade value.
I think Lakers should trade Luke Walton, and their 4, 2nd round picks for an OKAY PG.
I proposed that we trade Pau Gasol at the end of the season (in December 2010) whether we win the championship or not and I got flamed for it. Now people are talking about trading Pau and making this team younger, while still being a contender.
Kobe will score 30+ points in Game 5 to close out the Hornets (book it)

Re: Confessions of a Laker Fan
Messed around with an ex gf with a laker game on in the background and was genuinely more interested in the game.
Was bored with the shaq-kobe lakers by 2003.
Early on, thought Kareem Rush was going to be a borderline all star.
Still remember where I was when Horry hit the 3 against the Kings.
Completely changed my opinion of Odom this year...love his personality and his game now.
I like Larry Bird as much or more than any Laker...all-time.
Kobe-specific Confessions:
Genuinely disliked Kobe up until the 2000-2001 season.
You know that guy in high school who everybody knew of but nobody was friends with? And they got married early so they could have a friend? That's Kobe.
Kobe was pretty terrible this year.
Kobes basketball IQ is overrated...he may understand every aspect of the game but you can't call a guy one of the smartest players who still thinks shooting 25+ times at 40% is better than involving 3 all-star level players in the offense.
All the being said...I will straight up cry when Kobe retires...its been a great ride over the last decade.

Re: Confessions of a Laker Fan
Never was a big fan of Lamar but he has become my favorite player over the past these past seasons.
Kobe is really hard to hate because of everything he has done in the past but sometimes the guy really pisses me off to the point where I don't want to watch the game.
As much as I dislike Rondo I think of him as one of those guys that if he were on your team you would love him. I would absolutely love to have Rondo on our current squad.

• I don't like the logo they use on STAPLES center court. It would look better with the white stroke

I have never been able to figure out what CL means in DEEP3CL and have been too embarrassed to ask.
