You didn't have time to check in during the lengthy intermissions or when they weren't, you know, scoring?

Hockey is almost as bad as soccer.

The intermissions were taking place at different times. Also, hockey isn't pass, pass, pass, pass, pass like soccer. They actually average a shot a minute, any shot can go in the net: see the Flyers game tonight for proof of that.
