You think Deandre Liggins goes undrafted?

Most likely. His defense is good enough that someone may take a flyer on him in the mid to late 2nd round, but it is more likely he goes undrafted IMO. He should return to Kentucky.

Re: The Official 2011 Cammo Mock Draft Thread
Given the facts that 1. Valanciunas probably cant come over for a year or two and 2. The Jazz already have Jefferson, Millsap and Favors in the post (and Ante Tomic ready to come over from Real Madrid this summer) , that pick really doesn't work for them at #6. If he were to fall to #12, then I could see the Jazz picking him up to stash him for a few years.
If the Jazz stay put, I think they are hoping Knight falls to them. Vesely would also be a possibility here.

Who fits needs better than Jonas and who would contribute right away with those players left? Vesely is really similar to Evans and will probably stay in Europe for one year, Walker is another scorer the Jazz don't need, Burks is pretty similar to Harris and is probably too thin to play next year, Donatas is another postup PF who will stay in Europe for one year, Jones is another PF

Sadly, I have seen very little of Aldemir and mainly am going off of what I hear and have read on him. There are some Euros on this board who probably can give you much better insight on him than I can.

Huh, Biyombo rose into the top-5 and Vesely dropped to 9th (he was #5 in last mock). Why the change Cammo?
Just curious.

Biyombo just keeps rising. There is now talk that Minnesota may take him #1 overall.
If someone comes up, someone else has to drop. Vesely did not do anything to hurt his stock, Biyombo moving up just hurt his fit with some of the teams picking in the 6-8 range. Vesely still has a chance to be a top 5 pick, depending on how it all shakes out.

Are you serious?? Biyombo as the #1? KHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN!! He never cease to amaze me. For me personally, it's plain stupid to draft Biyombo over the likes of Irving and Williams.
I would be surprised if Vesely drops that low. #9 or #10 is his absolute basement imo. Anything below that will be a STEAL for any team to get Vesely outside the top-10.

I think at the end of the day Minny would almost have to take Irving. If they get the #2 pick though, all bets are off.
Vesely is in that second tier with a lot of interchangeable guys. Maybe he goes #4, maybe he goes #10. It is tough to say.

I know what you mean. It would appear that as soon as the OP reads a blog (the same blogs all of us read) that mildly suggests someone like Bitchslap might be the 1st overall pick then all of a sudden he justifies a massive movement up "his" board.

A) I moved him to #4 before I read that rumor. He is rising because of his play and his skill set.
B) I prefaced the entire post by saying it was a rumor I read.
C) The site all you guys seem to be so convinced I am mimicking, nbadraft.net, currently has Biyombo going #25. A meer 21 spot difference. If I am copying these guys, I am sure doing a poor job of it.
Try again.

Nothing of what you post is from any sense of personal belief or consistency. It's not like you nominate guys and ride them through. You don't stick with your guns. Rather, you ride the media hype, trends and professional mocks to form your own opinion - which is cool................if you take it for what it is. The only time it becomes laughable is when you say things like "I have heard" or "I have been told". I mean, seriously. Let's not get carried away here. You are a kid who roams the net. Power to you. No need to come off as some sort of self righteous, media tycoon with agents connections that mean any more than anyone else.
But hey - at the very least watching how far off you are at one point and then how close you are to Chad Ford's mock on draft night is at least...................entertaining?
Only as entertaining as you patting yourself on your back for your "track record" - which is champagne, top shelf, pure gold, grade A comedy.

All of us are riding the media hype train and other mocks. It's about projecting what will happen and those things are good indicators or rise and fallers
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Totally agree Doc - but if that is the case, just repost, quote or link to the real draft sites. Just don't pass them off as your own (something you never do with your mocks - at least you add your own flavor rather than just following the trend).

Do you know the difference between a Big Board and a Mock Draft? Serious question, because it sure seems that you do not. A mock draft adjusts based on where player's hype and stock is at currently, regardless of who you find dreamy. It is a projection of what you think will happen, not what you think should happen. I could be in love with a guy and convinced he will be a great pro, but if he is a late first guy, then that is where I have to mock them.
As for me not taking guys and riding them the whole way through, I have had Alec Burks in and around my top 5 on my Big Board all year long. I took a lot of flack for my Burks love and only recently have people come back to him being a top 10 guy. Jameer Nelson, Brandon Roy, Brook Lopez were all the same way. Things change though, and only an idiot would lock in on guys before they play the season and not adjust when results dictate. Go look at Mel Kipper's Big Board or Mock from the beginning of the season and now. They likely are not too similar.
I have never once in the history of the time I have been doing this pretended to have some inside sources telling me things. I'd love to see you produce a quote where I do. Occasionally I will talk about something I heard or read, but by no means am I ever passing it off as my own or some sort of insider information. But, I probably read a lot more draft stuff than most on here, so it stands to reason I should re-tell some of the more interesting stuff. It would be dumb not to discuss stuff because 5 of us already read it on some obscure forum or message board.
And in closing, no one is forcing you to read this thread. There are many other excellent mock draft threads on this very board you can read instead. You would not want to be a lemming just reading the one with the most views now would you?

Re: The Official 2011 Cammo Mock Draft Thread
Obviously the respectfully disagree strategy is a lost art.
I disagree with Cammo on several things but I respect his input and value his opinion. Burks over Vesely would cause me too blow a fuse. However I see no reason to insult Cammo because he doesnt agree with me.
