Anybody know when the next Gm a Team Tourney is happening?

I think I saw the current one ends May 15th...how soon after would the next be starting? I missed out on this one, and would love to get in on the next one. Info would be greatly appreciated fellas.

I remember there being some talk about not having one till next season. I personally would like to do one more short game before/during the summer, as I'm always bored in the summers. We'd need a commish for a new game, and I'm not sure how much interest there is.

But as much as I know, theres no plans for a new game till next year, even though I would like one more before then end of this season

Thanks for the invite, but I don´t wanna take on someone elses funky ideas lol...i wanna start from scratch...but I do appreciate the opportunity man.

I really do hope they have one before the draft since it would make the most sense with the NCAA finished, and we would have a better scouting report on draft prospects, as well as directions in which teams would want to go after the playoffs are finished...as well as free agents. I would think the end of May or begining of June before the real draft would be ideal.

i say we do one after the draft lotto and use the real life draft positioning!

If you wanna start from scratch, you can have the Suns. The current GM hasn't made a trade so it's basically the real life roster.

In any case, I'd recommend it so you can get up to speed with how the game works.

We're in free agency.

Check out the rosters topic - and email me - you'll need to get set up pretty fast if you want to make any extension / BAE / MLE offers

Scratch that, someone has claimed Phoenix. Unless you want a very much altered LA Lakers or Sacramento, you may have to wait til the next game.

In fairness, Phoenix (and Detroit) are probably the hardest teams to turn around.

Daaaang...its alright. Ill wait til the next go around...btw are the winners picked based on realism at all? There are some crazy trades goin on in there lol

Nope it's not based on realism.

We have a mid-game winner e.g. end of 2010/11 season - if you check out the Nuggets roster, he was voted the '11 champion.

Then we vote best overall at the end of the game, where people take into consideration what a team started with (ie. LAL and Miami don't win every game)

There should be a cat for best team for the future.. brings so much more variables to the game. Plus next game AIM should be made as a requirement... and instead of the mad rush to get numbers. Get GMs that are actually interested in playing. Our currennt game has nearly every team active allthough only 6 or 7 GMs are constintly active. Im not having a go at GMs that have little time for it and have good excuses.. but these people should just not play because it makes it boring for the active ones.

Yeah I agree, I´d like a few changes in the next...nothing crazy, but stuff like that ruins the whole game. You can´t have only 6 people playing if 30 sign up. If you abandon the game, you shouldn´t be allowed to play in the next few. My major problem is the realism...I saw one dude say a Gm traded I think Love for Gasol, then Gasol for Gay then Gay for Batum...like come on...that´s insaine!

There should be a panel of judges that act as league approval and not allow that to happen, or at least warn you that you are in jeopardy of losing realism points bigtime. I know it´s supposed to be fun but besides big free agents(Howard+Deron), guys like Wade, Amare, and Garnett are not going to be traded. That´s just flat out crazy.
