Dallas needs perimeter defense.

They have the tools and the personnel for that (at least, in this series), but for whatever reason, Carlisle chooses not to use those tools.

Carlisile insists on starting Chandler (instead of Haywood) who is playing like he has no NBA experience.

Roddy couldn't be any worse than Terry has been.

And for all of you blaming Terry for the loss, Kidd only took 6 shots all game and made 3. Its Kidd and not Dirk that needs to shoot more. Dirk gets doubled and triple teamed ALL THE TIME. You can't shoot with those odds.

If you give Kidd more than 6 attempts and it's almost certain he won't be as efficient as 50% most of the time. Game 1 was a great outlier. As a team strategy that's not the way to go.

But I just came here to see what you guys think of Carlisle. I always liked him as Pacers coach, and the complaints were the same. I agree that he needs to be more flexible, even if it's an important game on the line. He's a bit of a control freak and it leads to stiff decision-making.
