OT: D'Antoni Rips Rondo, Timberwolves

D' Antoni isn't all that impressed with the success Rajon Rondo has had playing with the Celtics' Big Three. "Well, I'd like to see him play in Minnesota and see how he does," D' Antoni joked before Game 4. He recovered quickly by saying, "Rondo's a very, very good basketball player, really good," but his point clearly was that his effectiveness is aided by the three future Hall of Famers catching his passes.

Thoughts?

D'Antoni is even more likely to get fired than Rambis. I'm sure he's pretty happy about getting swept.

Yeah, if the Wolves had Rondo, they totally wouldn't have whooped his team's ass with a huge comeback on 11/12/10 and then only lost by 7 on 12/06/10. Oh and surely they wouldn't have beat his team in the preseason as well.

I dislike dantoni as much as the next guy but I don't really see this as a rip. The wolves suck and ever body knows it. Rondo is great ut he would,t have the same success here. Espescially with our PG hating syste, a guy who can't hit peremiter shot will get killed.

He was just trying to stir things up and Minnesota is the butt-end of everybody's jokes regarding point-guards, not surprising.

Glad McHale made Rondo the center of the KG trade and not somebody else otherwise we'd be screwed right now.

On a side note, I'm glad I don't do drugs cause Calinks avatar would have me freaking out right now.

I take offense to that, drugs don't make people "freak out". Except for last night when I took some drugs and I was freaking the **** right on out. Bad night.
