Lakers could have used some rest if they win in less games. You play with fire when you let the other team hang around. 2 home games and 1 road game. Got to win as fast as they can. Celtics are resting now. It all adds up later in the playoffs.

I am looking beyond just this serie now and I must say I am very worried. Memphis is going to kick our ass if they make it through. They are huge up front, has plenty of good defenders and has a point gurad that torches us every time.

Well Kobe has done well against Westbrook and Rondo because he gives them the jumper. Any kind of footspeed advantage they have over him is mitigated because Bryant can pick them up now and you still have the bigs patrolling the paint. With Paul it's not that easy, Kobe would have to use more energy because Paul is a legit threat from the perimeter. He should be on him for stretches however.

As long as the NBA has controlling interest in the Hornets it will be a conflict of interest. Monty has no right to complain about simple calls when all they've done is personally escort the Hornets to the line like they were the President being protected by Secret Service.

But I'm not worried about this series, our problem is we don't exploit our mismatches to inflict trouble on them. Pau isn't carrying his weight and Phil is just trying to ween Drew through this series. We just have to defend and stay in the system and we're good.

Bulls up 3-0
Lakers/NOLA tied 2-2
our crap defense obviously works better than Indys :P

I will not be worried until the Lakers lose 4 games to this team.

I'm worried that the Lakers are not worried.

Our team is playing entitled and they shouldn't in the play-offs. I want to see a hungry, scrappy Lakers team desperate to get a win. I want to see our bigs dominate the boards.

If CP3 is doing this, imagine what D-Rose could do to Fisher. He is twice as quick as CP3. It is time for Gasol to stop being soft, for Bynum to have an '09 Dwight style coming out party, and for Kobe to work overtime.

Game 5 is a MUST WIN!

+1

Still, I'm a bit disappointed with how this team is performing.

I know we're in the playoffs, but sorry it doesn't feel like it when I'm watching the Lakers playing. There's just no consistency in what they're doing.

The winner of game five wins the series in my opinion.

Lakers are playing "shell-shocked".

We took it for granted we were going to beat NO...
We were still taking if for granted when we were just 2-1...
Now it's dragging and a series... And key players are getting hurt...

If that doesn't change... And permanently for the rest of the play-offs...
Then, hell yeah, I'm worried.

We haven't played well enough in the playoffs yet to 3-peat. We just haven't.

Monty is a bitch for talking to the league about the officiating, instead of making it public like Phil does every chance he gets? Ok. I would call that classy.
