I second the notion of getting a new Kings GM. His self proclaimed terrific GM'ing skills have led him to a place where he's throwing a hissy fit because he wasn't able to get a free agent. If he stays in the game, he'll just ruin the game further.

Even though I got the better part of the love deal, I like games to be fair, and I also agree that we should get a new kings gm with love, ginobili and splitter. Idk that's just me, maybe we leave the love and ginobili deals, but I think he needs to go.

I third the notion. I am sure the Kings GM is a nice guy but his impatience is a little irritating.

Gotta back the mods on this one. Trades cancelled, new Kings GM wanted.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

GREEN LEANING TOWARDS GOLDEN STATE?

Bill Simmons, ESPN

Word around the league is that Jeff Greene has made up his mind to join the GoldenState Warriors and will gladly ink the outrageously overpaid Max contract that our friends in the GSW organization have bestowed upon him. Who can blame him though? A max contract for Jeff Green is like Kris Humphries marrying Kim Kardashian without a pre-nup and with a verbal agreement of a monthly threesome where he can sleep with any woman of his choosing and Kim joins in too! With that said, that ill-fated Perkins trade is looking even worse for the Celtics (if it could even look any worse to begin with!) as my beloved C's will likely let Green walk. I must congratulate Green on a fine robbery and I can totally picture my dad hiring snipers to take Danny Ainge down for the epic fail the Perkins trade has turned out to be.

Before I go, please be advised that I, Bill Simmons, should not be held responsible for any harm and bodily damage my dad brings upon Mr. Ainge and associates.

John Hollinger, ESPN

There are three NBA players with a lot in common. They're undersized power forwards who neither score nor rebound effectively, and who bring nothing else to the game to make up for their weaknesses. And they make, or are about to make, a very large amount of money. So it's time to Guess That Player - all stats from 2010-11.

PLAYER A:
34 minutes per game, 12.0 points/36, .558 TSP, 5.4 rebounds/36, PER 13.9 (52nd among NBA power forwards), age 28

PLAYER B:
32 minutes per game, 13.2 points/36, .535 TSP, 5.7 rebounds/36, PER 12.1 (63rd among NBA power forwards), age 31

PLAYER C:
33 minutes per game, 14.8 points/36, .538 TSP, 5.4 reboudns/36, PER 12.9 (57th among NBA power forwarsd), age 24

Player C is, as you've already guessed, Jeff Green. Watch this space for the names of his comparables. And - Golden State - be afraid. Be very afraid.

JR SMITH SIGNS FOR THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

Denver Post

JR Smith has agreed to a 5 year, 60 million dollars contract with the Warriors. Warriors seem hell-bent on using up all of their 40 million dollars in capspace this year.
