Something I would do would be something like:
Beno, one of our SFs, JT for Chauncey.
Honestly, Beno is a better fit for NY than Chauncey is, and they could really use the depth. For us we get a veteran leader who obviously would replace Beno's minutes. And we can certainly afford to lose one of Cisco\Donte\Omri. Losing JT would hurt right now, but I think it'd be worth it.

Dude are you kidding me? How do you justify trading 3 players for a 35 yr old player.
Better yet, just explain trading JT for a 13 yr vet who will be 36 next yr. That would leave our big rotation in question again....

Yeah, I don't say that JT is or maybe ever will be an all-star.
But child, please! Can you say McDyess?
You HAVE to have a third big who is a capable starter in your rotation or you will be destroyed inside. We do not have to go pay a bunch of money for a FA one, we have one home grown!

Your record certainly doesn't reflect the supposed high value of these players you covet. Fun to watch though, if you're into lottery basketball.

Or being swept by the Geriatric Dream Team in the first round.
