We lose an All Star PF and a future All Star in Rudy Gay but we get the awesome Chris Paul in return. Nice dealing...

This deal is about $1m short on outgoing from Minnesota for it to work.

Edit: this deal is messy. I need to speak to both of you as Horford is BYC, as is Conley

NJ and PHX have a S&T to announce.

NJ outgoing:
Marc Gasol $13,000,000 ($6,500,000)
DeSagana Diop $6,925,400

PHX outgoing:
Steve Nash $11,689,062
Robin Lopez $2,862,602
Gani Lawal $788,872
Garret Siler $788,872

NJN Outgoing: $6,500,000 + $6,925,400 = $13,425,400 X 1.25 = $16,781,750
NJN Incoming: $16,151,664

PHX Outgoing: $13,000,000 X 1.25 = $16,250,000
PHX Incoming: $13,000,000 + $6,925,400 = $19,925,400

We get a 15/11 PG on 50/40/90, Nash is still an elite player and a top tier PG. His lights out shooting and insane vision will make Howard look like Shaq in his prime. Robin Lopez is a nice young C that we will likely move.

PHX accepts. We feel Gasol is a franchise player, and love the way he is beating on Duncan in the playoffs this year. We were planning on moving both Nash and Lopez, so were fine moving them. The Suns organization would like to thank Steve Nash for his excellent play and good attitude while in Phoenix. We wish him happy trails, and hope he can win a title in NJ.

Toronto and Indiana have a trade:

Toronto sends: 2012 Toronto 2nd rounder

Indy sends: AJ Price($884,293)

Works as Price is MIN.

Raptors accept, needed a 3rd PG, and we like Prices game here.

indy accepts (and will fix roster tonight). Welike Price, but with Collison and the drafting of Kemba and Reggie Jackson we had no role for him. We wish him well in toronto!

(I assume the pick is TOR's pick)

Portland and Phoenix have a trade to announce

Portland trades

Raymond Felton - $7,000,000

Total = $7m (*1.25+ $100k = $8,850,000)

receives:

Jared Dudley - $4,250,000
Hakim Warrick - $4,590,000

Total = $8,840,000 - deal works for Portland!

Phoenix Trades

Jared Dudley - $2,125,000 (BYC Value)
Hakim Warrick - $4,590,000

Outgoing = $6,715,000 - The deal works for Phoenix!

Why for Portland? We finally get a defensive 3 point shooting SF, whilst Warrick is a decent scoring PF to add to the rotation.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

PHX accepts. With Nash leaving, we needed a PG. Felton is the perfect fit, as he is young, but old enough that he can compete now. He was 17/9 with 1.8 spg in NY and he is very capable of going back to that form. We never liked dudley, and warrick was an excess big on my team.

Portland and New Jersey have a trade to announce.

Portland Trades

Hakim Warrick - $4,590,000
Anthony Tolliver - $2,050,000

New Jersey Trades

TPE $7,018,720 - generated in Amar'e / Billups / Duncan trade

Portland accepts. We have ended up with a surplus of players after the first round of FA and a couple of recent trades, these guys are good bench players but with Landry/Freeland coming over I have no need

We add 2 bench guys, Tolliver is well rounded and does all the little things and Warrick is a nice player in limited minutes.

PHX and WAS have agree on a trade.

To PHX: Al Jefferson ($13,000,000)
Mike Miller ($5,400,000)

Total: 18,400,000

To WAS: Marc Gasol: ($13,000,000)
Channing Frye ($5,600,000)
Rights to 1st round pick Kawhi Leonard

Total: 18,600,000

Close enough, deal works.

PHX accepts. Al Jefferson is more of a 1st option than Gasol, and the same age, so were happy to bring him on the team. We hate to see Frye leave, as we liked his shooting and scoring abilities, but we needed wings, and Miller is a decent enough fit.

^Accepted. I like Gasol's fit with David Lee more than I did with Jefferson. Leonard should be solid in the future too.
