Obviously I was joking about the 80+ year fanbase and it's to be expected that a show that averages 19 million viewers will have at least a decent amount of viewers in the 18-49 demographic.
The show is still procedural crap, though. I mean, I understand liking it in a guilty pleasure sort of way, we all have that but it isn't a top show in any shape or form contrary to what the ratings say.
The Office is the NBC's highest rated comedy despite the fact that it isn't nearly as funny as Community, 30 Rock or Parks and Rec.

I'll give you that. I'd like to meet a hardcore fan of that show one day, though I doubt I'll find one. All 9 of them are probably being studied somewhere because if you like that show let alone be a hardcore fan, something is seriously wrong with you and I'm being dead honest.
