Hawks are the underdogs

Post#1 » by Harry10 » Thu Apr 28, 2011 9:47 am

I think it is great that the Hawks are the underdogs again, going into game 6. They were not only underdogs going into the playoff, but everybody thought the Magic were not only going to win, but going to sweep the Hawks. Orlando never had any respect for Atlanta. Lets face it, the whole country hates the Hawks, sports writers and analyst hate everything about the Hawks organization, refs hate the Hawks, Stern hates Atlanta, every fan outside this board hates the Hawks. They think Josh is a thug, Joe is a prima donna, Jamal is a ballhog, Horford is overrated, Marvin has no heart, and Zaza is a goon. Nobody likes us and nobody wants to see us move on in the playoffs, nobody thinks the Hawks belong in the playoffs, everybody is really just rooting against the Hawks, so it really is US AGAINST THE WORLD.

Hawks really have not pressure for the rest of the playoffs, because nobody wants to see Atlanta win anyway. Its the Magic who have to win the next two games, and not only that, but if the Magic lose, then Dwight is as good as gone, so their is a lot more riding on a Magic lose than a Hawks' win.

So when the players take the court, they should all be aware that everybody outside the arena doesn't believe that they belong to be their and don't deserve to be in the playoffs, going up a contender like the Magic.

Just discovered the internet, didja? You can register, check out the forums and make fun of other fans. Great, huh?
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Definitley the underdog, even when they were up 3-1.

They should have done it in 4 games; now you have given the Magic some of their swagger back.

Hawks lose tonight; its time to go fishin' with Kenny Smith.

Posts like this are usually why I try to stay away from the internet after a loss in the playoffs. What logical evidence is there to support that the Hawks had a worse chance in game 7 than the Magic did tonight in game 6?

Return to Atlanta Hawks
