It's amazing what the defense of Peja and Barea can do with Kidd is off the court.

Tied game! 35-35

Really...I just don't get all the critisism of Peja's defense. He is not as bad as advertised.

lets hope they can keep it.

Yep, it's mainly the Jasons getting totally lost on defense. Even JJ is at least capable to stay in front of his man - he's just way too short...

Did you do something to Gerald Wallace which caused him to leave the game?

Got lucky there. Jet going into Kobe-mode again but this time hitting. And then he got totally lost on D once again. I really want him to stay in front of his man for just one game :-/

I love when Jet's Kobe-mode works out.

That is twice now in this series I have seen Terry use up most of the clock just to pass it to Dirk with 3 seconds left. Both times Dirk said, "F that, you take that shot" just to have Terry drain it.

I wonder if that is a set play.

A DIRK dunk, DIRK lay-up, and then a JET buzzer 3 makes me go :o

JET is taking shots next to Marion. I like to see him as the 3rd option and to see his 5assists, especially for inside offences. Not for 3pt shots.

I hope to see Marion and Chandler attacking the board more in this game.

Dirk points...
Where Terry scores...

I just don't want a Mavs let up in the 2nd half.

Portland seems to now double-teaming Dirk on every single posession.
Everyone else needs to step up like in the 2nd quarter.

I honestly believe that Brewer would do a better job as the starting SG than Stevenson is. His numbers have been below average:

5 gms, 13mpg, 33% FG, 37% 3PT, 75% FT, 0.6 reb, 0.8 asts and 2.8 pts

I know that his role is to play defense, foul and shoot threes....well hes hit only 3 threes this series. Kobe will destroy him. I just hope RC realises that we need Brewer on the bench and NOT Roddy.

Brewer can do so much more.

Stevenson is doing nothing but taking up space and committing stupid fouls

Return to Dallas Mavericks
