I would have preferred Jernigan but I'll happily accept Young. He gets fantastic initial separation. He's also damn noisy, he grunts like Sharapova every time he makes a cut.

I really liked Jerel too but i like Young alot. He will be perfect in the slot and on turf, so damn fast.

Stafford has so, so many weapons now. Just gotta keep him upright.

3rd Rd has to be LB or CB. Has to be

Reading up on Titus Young, it sounds like he is kind of immature and hard to coach. Any info on the character issues Ice?

Sounds like we are not scared of some personality with him and Fairley

I like Young. I think he is going to have the biggest impact at KR/PR and will give us great field position. Our KR's SUCKED last year.

I don't now what team you were watching but our kick return was one of the top 10 last year.

i knew the lions would pick a WR 1 or 2nd now they will go after a RB

I stand corrected. RB it is...TSE was right.

Jumped up to grab a big RB. Leshore and Best...whoa

Our offense will be nasty

trade was this second rounder (Leshore), a 5th and a 7th for our 3rd, 4th and 7th

guess we will fill LB and CB in FA

It wasn't bad value though. All we had to do to jump up was drop from the 4th round to their 5th round pick, plus swap 7s.

Cleans up the holes and makes next year's draft really easy to laser target OL and DEF for the next 2 years straight.

Mock SATURDAY:

5) Alex Henery P - trade away Harris and he can backup Hanson
7) FB

Yup, not terrible value in terms of the trade

Obviously Mayhew is very serious about BPA. We have gamebreakers all over the offense and d-line, but that defensive back 7 is obviously a huge, huge, huge issue still

Maybe Dizon can play. Maybe Follett somehow. Maybe Palmer can. Or some UDFA. Or cut player. Or FA. Or Bobby Carpenter?

I think you let Carpenter, Palmer and Dizon fight for one spot probably and hopefully fill another through FA. Or maybe we get lucky in the 5th and get a steal. Who knows

Leshore had no fumbles in college apparently, in over 450 touches. I can appreciate that greatly. Kid is a horse and the perfect compliment to Jahvid

The one-two punch of Best-Leshore is going to be fun

I would have taken Justin Houston over Leshoure but I won't fight the pick. Leshoure impressed me quite a bit and he's a nice contrast to Best. I came back from the bathroom and heard Shane Vereen being picked as I heard the Lions traded up and I nearly vomited, thank God it wasn't a guy that couldn't hold Best's jock in college. Leshoure reminds me of Arian Foster--attack the hole, then bounce the run off the blocking.

The trade doesn't bother me, value is fine. I really wanted Houston though, think he's more of a difference maker at a position of higher need.
