Yeah, HUGE move pinch hitting for Shawn Green and putting up Wright. HUGE. Yeah Green had crappy numbers vs. Eyre something like 2-23 but Wright was cold and hadn't played. I probably would have pinch hit for Delgado who looked like crap all day instead of Green who swung the bat well. But Willie played the percentages and it worked! Woot!!! Woot!!!

Also Lou getting into it with Dempster on the mound and then walking back to the dugout muttering to himself was priceless. I can't see Lou lasting there much longer. He looks like his head is about to explode.

I'm guessing Wright would have went to 3rd, Chavez to LF and Gomez to RF, with Beltran in CF.

Delgado is the man. Who else heard his post game comments on Willie using the bench today??

"9 guys will usually play but it takes 25 guys to win a Championship"

I'm proud that this guy, Franco, and Lo Duca are around Wright, Reyes, and CarGo!
LOL Y U MAD THO?

I'm still not crazy about Franco, but all of our other bench players are clutch. Eisley was a great pickup. Gotay looks OK. Gomez - nuff has been said about him allready and Chavez, well, if MLB had a 6th man of the year award - he'd be in the running. Newhan is a nice guy too cause he can play several positions.
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

Double standard?
