I'm working on an animated sig, but before I get too far into it, does RGM enforce the sig guidelines strictly? The rules state it can't be over 50 KB, which is impossible to follow with an animated sig. For instance, this sig is almost 4x the limit:


Even this sig is over 50 KB


The sig I'm currently making will be much larger then these two (KB wise) though, but still within the 400x90 range. It seems RGM only cares about the 400x90 limit, but I don't want to make the sig if it's going to not be allowed. What I have in mind will be really awesome though I feel. I currently have most of it made, but am about to start the animation process.

As long as it's close to the proportions of 400x90, you should be fine. It just shouldn't be at a size that would make it that noticeable. I had a 420x150 sig and it got removed while I was posting on the GB a couple of days ago. So as long it's smaller than 420x150 you'll be alright. A lot of it also depends on the modding of where ever it is you're posting. All of the mods here are real chill about about bending the rules slightly when it comes to sigs, but there's mods from other fanbases that take their duties too seriously.
