Actually I take back what I said about Fields... we're much better keeping Chandler. I'm told Fields is a horrible man-to-man defender, which is why they supposedly want WC back because he can actually play defense.

Knicks fans on the Knicks board called Chandler a bad man to man defender and said that Gallo was better. They don't know what they are talking about.

there right, Gallo is the better man to man defender, and Fields is not all that good at defense.

Gallo is the better man-to-man defender, but Chandler is an excellent (and certainly better) help defender.

And yeah, Fields is not a good defender, either. He's not AWFUL, but he's certainly not good at all. People tended to associate him with defense since he was Mr. Intangibles...however that was simply not the case.

The Chandler for Fields swap is tempting for us Knick fans, however I think the Knicks might be looking for a more pure 2-guard.
