Nah we'll redo the draft order later. A week before we start the draft. So people can start making strategies and trading picks.

Bro considering where you fell in the draft, I'm not surprised you would say this. Had you gotten top 5, maybe even 10, I'd love to know what your response wouldv'e been then. :)

I didn't put any stock into the draft order because it wasn't down by KLN.

And you liked the draft order because you had a top pick...isn't that normal for anyone to want to re-do if they have a bad spot and keep if you have a good part? So I don't understand your point...

I took no stock in that draft order because it wasn't done by one of the guys running BAT.

I don't care where my drafting position is. The Houston Rockets are going to be awesome regardless where we pick. We have strategies already lined up based on if we're picking in the top 10, middle of the round, or end of the round.

I've been a part of this thing since the first build a team, and having a top 5 or even top 10 pick in no way guarantees you having a good team. In other words, I could care less if I got 1 or 30.

I do agree with you. If you land 1 you will probably get the worst player in the secrond round. If you get 30 or a late pick your able to pick 2 really good players.

Thats the beauty of a snake draft. Just cause you have a good pick doesn't mean you get the best team.

Meh snake draft or not, the NBA is a stars league. We should know this more than anybody. Give me Lebron and the 60th best player over the 30th and 31st best players.

Maybe so, but it also depends on how good of a GM you are. Let's see, in BAT 3.0, The 1st pick was Lebron and the 60th was Aaron Brooks, while the 30th pick was Al Horford, and the 31st was Andrew Bynum. Which would you choose? Again it depends on the type of mind you have and what you're going for.

Absolutely you'd want whoever gets the 1st pick in the 1st round to end up with the last pick in the 2nd round. Regardless of who the GM's are. Same like we've always had it.

If the GM that gets the 1st pick in the 1st also gets to pick 1st in the 2nd (and 1st every other round) he'd have to be an absolute moron to not end up with a top team.

1st, 60th, 61st, 120th, etc....that's what the GM that gets the 1st overall should be looking at and not
1st, 31st, 61st, 91st, etc.

Well I just wouldnt pick Aaron Brooks. Ha I know he was better back then but Im sure I could find a better player than that, preferably a big man.

IDK Im ready to get this thing started. I have one question though, do we take salaries into account? If so what years salary do we take?
