-$3.9 million

I have a feeling that we won't be seeing that high of a payroll again.

Hopefully with the new CBA no one will be seeing that high of a payroll ever again.

I agree! Jimmer can put more seats in the arena. Preferrably he could add another 1st through 5th row because the ones at the top don't cost that much.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

That is all divide up among the NBA teams Yes the NBA team who owns the contract to the player gets a higher % but everyone shares the $$ of Jersey sales and all NBA Apparel!!

The Jazz need peoples butts in the seats and buying food from the the arena to earn money and to make the playoffs!!

The novelty would wear off well before the rook would get serious minutes. It's not like BYU fans in Utah need to be converted. If the Jazz were needing to make new fans via personnel decisions they would go after more guys like Millsap and now Jefferson who don't have strong ties to the community but make if a 12 month home and get around town a bit.
