those type of labels like kobe lover or pau lover aren't really needed. i know it makes me enjoy the board a lot less.

At this point I would establish Drew in the post before Pau simply because Pau no longer enjoys playing down there anymore. It's evident in all the jump shots he takes & the fact that he no longer tries to end up at tje basket on any post move anymore!

You sound like a troll when you say that "blank lovers" crap. Save that stuff for your diary. It's funny how you say Kobe and Gasol were the reason the Lakers lost, yet the guy you bring up as the solution to the problem openly admitted that he gave no effort on the basketball court.

Gasol only shoots jumpers because he too weak to bang inside. For Kobe, he doesn't drive because he's got bad ankles and old legs and if drove the majority of the time he'd be out of breath midway through the third quarter.

If Bynum made those gimme baskets under the rim that he missed, than the Lakers would have had all facets of the offense covered--Bynum with points in the paint, Gasol with the midrange buckets, and Kobe from deep.

Taking it way to sensitively Ty. All im saying is with those two its like they can never do no wrong with some of you guys. If saying lover is now taboo on this board maybe we need Celtic fans to come in here & tell us we have soft posters as well

To be able to make my point i'll drop the vernacular for now. I didnt say Drew was the answer. It may have looked like that to you because i did come off like that but it was aimed at Worthy for his bench Drew comment.

As far as diary i know not what you speak of but i will by you a doll for your hope chest.

Because he looked dis-interested. you yourself said he was M.I.A. He had 1 personal foul which means he wasnt playing aggressive. Thats not acceptable in the the 2nd round of the playoffs. Gasol may not have been great but you at least knew he was on the floor. Here are some comments from Bynum talking about his own game:

"For me personally, I didn't have a very good game," Bynum said. "So I wasn't a help today."

He owned up to it. Kudos for him

"I'm just going to be so much more aggressive," Bynum said. "I felt like I wasn't aggressive at all – getting low-post position. Nothing. I kept letting them hit me first. It's going to be different [in Game 2]."

Speaks for itself

Perhaps, it was suggested to Bynum, he didn't get enough touches.

Quickly, Bynum shot down that theory.

"I'm a guy on the team that doesn't know what I'm going to get," Bynum said. "But I can definitely be more demonstrative, ask for the basketball and be more hungry inside."

"Tonight I just didn't do enough," Bynum said. "I didn't have enough energy."

Why?

"If I knew tonight, I would have played better," Bynum said, chuckling.

This has nothing to do with your comment about benching Drew. Yes kudos for him for being a man about it, but it doesnt change your jaded view of him as a player.

I stated my point. Backed it up with thoughts of my own while adding in what Bynum thought of his own game. Sounds like he would have benched himself. Even added in your quote of him being M.I.A. If that isnt reason enough to make my initial comment (Bench Bynum before you bench pau.) post legit then :dontknow: Again I didnt make a random bench bynum comment. I replied to a poster saying bench Gasol. So my orginal thought was...like I posted, if anyone should get benched between Bynum and Gasol it would be bynum.
