Re: Rally Thread.
The Dallas Mavericks are not some insurmountable object.
If the Lakers win this series, I wouldn't see that accomplishment as being some miracle.
Unless Phil Jackson makes some very bold player rotation decisions, I don't see this team winning a ring this year (even though I'd bet money that they win this series).

Re: Rally Thread.
I think if we make the necessary adjustments to win this series, like moving the ball better and getting our offense into gear, we're pretty much the team to beat again. I don't see either the Thunder or any team other than Heat giving us something we cannot handle.
Winning this gives us enough momentum to keep our asses in gear to win another 8 games.

Yeah, right on.
When I mention us not winning, I'm alluding specifically to the Heat.
However, just like Pierce in 08 (guarded by Walton and Radmanovic), any offensive PG (Westbrook, Rose, Crawford) will be licking his chops against us.
If we play the Heat though, they will not be denied (again hope I'm wrong ... again).

Re: Rally Thread.
Crawford is not going to torch us like Rose and Westbrook. He will torch us but not like these guys, he just isn't that quick. Kobe and Artest should do a great job on him and if it did come down to Atlanta, there's a million ways they'll beat themselves before we do something.
Westbrook and Rose can get theirs against us but we should do well to contain about everyone else on those teams.
I really can't see us beating Miami because we don't have any answer to either Lebron or Wade. It'd take our front court to come up with one hell of an effort for us to have a chance. In short Odom/Pau/Bynum cannot out a foot wrong. Not happening.
