The Hawks just have to score points, point blank period. The Bulls aren't no offensive machine and will play a shaded zone towards Joe so he won't beat them alone. Drew has to create plays to get Horford and Smith to cut down the middle of the Defense to draw attention, and allow the back door cutter to open up for Joe to pass to. Damien Wilkins does a good job in cutting.
Josh finally realized where his money baskets are at after he took that head band off. He got to continue to do that. Guys were easily finding him along that baseline numerous times for easy dunks. He really needs to convert a lot of those "and 1's" as well. Horford's mid-range ain't exactly on point either, so he needs to do the same. Both guys FG% is horrible.
All that rebound talk is pointless when you got guys like Noah and Deng giving extra efforts to get the rebounds. We lose what little offense we have when we put Collins on the floor. Pachulia bangs for fouls, but his very limited hops allow his shot to get blocked to often.

Again, if you make a statement that has no basis on fact then it is an assumption if not an outright lie. You can roll off a thousand posts off of a one game sample size and a youtube video and what you think should occur in a perfect world yet when confronted with fact and much larger sample sizes you say it doesn't matter. And regardless of rebounding being a team function you still are better served having your better rebounders not only on the court but in the best position to succeed. I believe that that is much easier concept to grasp rather than hoping JaCo somehow use his gravitational pull to keep two guys on the ground while Al and Josh go up for rebounds or Zaza manages to stay on the court for 30 minutes without fouling out or picking up 12 turnovers. Find a new horse to beat, please.

Except that is an unfounded assumption.
The first game Al, Marvin, Josh combined for 3 offensive boards. We win.
2nd game they combine for 8 offensive boards. We lose.
It's all about effort, theirs.

I dont like the spread offense. Takes away shots from our shot makers and forces Josh and Marvin to make contested jump shots. Losing formula

not a good game, Horford was absolutely crap, embarrassing that he couldn't play up to par to a shorter and lighter Noah.
but the Hawks did the job that they were suppose to do, they got a win in Chicago and now going back home to the ATL.
the Bulls are defiantly alot easier than the Magic, Hawks play great when they get the crowd support, so lets just cheer like hell and support the team, because it does seem like the team plays better defense and gets a ton of transitions baskets when the Hawks fans are cheering.

Zaza helps rebounding because it is Zaza and Al together on the boards. His offensive limitations weren't a big issue because he either replaces Marvin who was missing everything or Jamal who was so cold he stopped shooting. Josh helped late by starting to play more down low, but he can do that from SF on offense by crashing the boards. A lineup of Zaza, Al, Josh, Joe, and Jeff should be able to match the Bulls on the glass if not dominate when playing hard. Al, Marvin, Joe, Jamal, and Jeff is a lineup that is destined to be obliterated on the boards and we used that lineup in stints in game 2 to just that result.
Additionally, I firmly believe that if Jamal is that cold he needs to come out because he is not even an average defender. If he stays in he has to shoot his way out of the funk. He can't be on the floor and only a decoy on offense. We lose more than we get in that scenario. The wise coach knows when to ride with Jamal and when to pull him. Letting him stop shooting without yanking him is the worst of all worlds and that happened late in game 2.

That would mean we are getting past this round with a 3-4.

Derrick Rose injured, Carlos Boozer injured, Joakim Noah 19 and 14, 7 offensive rebounds, Josh Smith 6 rebounds total in the win and the loss. But we don't need to play a center because there's no Dwight Howard.
Atlanta Hawks: J.J.: ‘We all are jump shooters. That’s pretty much what it is.’
"But you look at a jump-shooting team–we are a jump-shooting team. If shots are falling then, great, we are rolling. But one through five, we all are jump shooters."
Lord Knows, when one of our 3 team captains speaks up out about this non rebounding all shooting crud.
