The vote for Biyombo is mine. I think that players like him don't come often and unlike Irving or Williams he fills a position need. In addition no buyout is neededto get him to NBA. Iguess i shoudln't even consider it but another thing is (that being a center) he would be worth his rookie salary even as a first overall pick, even if he only semi-pans, which I am not sure about some player in this weak draft (that their rookie contracts can actaully become bad contracts with new CBA etc.). I but I guess we are picking no matter where we would have to draft this or that player and assume we are drafting at 9th whoever BPA from these polls falls to us.

lol, i just finally realized what was going on in your sig doc.... good stuff

I don't know a damn thing about Kanter, Biyombo, etc. There's also some Jimmer dude who sounds like he is the PG version of Adam Morrison. If we get a #1 or #2 pick we are guaranteed a good player - potential star player. The rest are all questionable except for maybe Kemba Walker who I think is gonna be a big time scorer in the NBA. Your typical UCONN G who gets drafted mid lottery but goes onto have a huge career as a scorer and high % shooter. If we walk away with Irving, Williams, Kemba, Knight, then I think we are improving our team a good amount.

Like any #1 pick, you look for who has the best stuff to be a star player. Irving has the stuff..far from a guarantee he reaches that status, but I don't see how you can pass on him. Williams is a very good player and I'd love to have the 2nd pick this year and grab whomever doesn't go 1st, 'cause I think only those 2 have clear star-power. Everybody else has degrees of good, but various question marks relative to the next level.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
