Man, I don't blame you. This is RIDICULOUS! I got K-Love, Randolph, and my rookie 7'6" center who is in the 80's with rebounding. Every damn game we get killed on the boards. I got crash boards set to max and we still get destroyed. There is no way that should be happening. 2K really needs to get this crap straightened out, I don't care if they have to make it look "cheap" great rebounders should get their numbers. find a way to make it happen.

I found out that if I preorder Twisted Metal, I can unlock a character named Axel 30 days early. I was about to get my credit card, but I thought about it and decided against it because that just sounds really scuzzy. Seriously, I'm already paying 60 bucks.

The truth is I would have bought it on the first day, but now I'm considering waiting 30+ days after its release and just buy it on ebay. I'm not going to really save any money going that route, but I want to start a revolution.

Mortal Kombat is fantastic.

Went back to 2K11. Simmed through the season earlier and as I said earlier drafted a 7'6" center and a back up PG.

After wheeling and dealing here is the team I assembled.

PG: Flynn/Rook
SG: Wilson Chandler/Johnson
SF: Beasley/Webster
PF: Love/Randolph/Tolliver
C: Rook/Pek/Tolliver/Randolph

This was a good team but they are slow on the attack. Chandler is slow for a SG, Beas is average for a SF. Flynn can't get inside and his rating is -10 becasue he is pissed and wants out.

5 games in we are .500. I played against the Wizards and had a hell of a game. It was crazy! Wound up going to double OT! John Wall pretty much shot them out of the guaranteed victory. To my deep chagrin we keep g3etting MURDERED on the glass. It's ridiculous seeing the size and rebounders I have on my squad. I just don't get it. We should be grabbing every board there is.

Love only averages like 8 rebounds. It just really pisses me off that in game, they don't rebound like they should. This ruins me every game.

Anyway, the game was nuts. The Wizards have a rookie PG named Powers who was just torching us all game long. I tried stopping him but he could score from anywhere. 3 point maestro, off the dribble mid range, under the basket, you name it he could make it. We won the game but 3 points but I came away EXTREMELY impressed with this kid.

After the game I looked him up and he was unhappy because he was getting so little playing time behind Wall. He was unhappy, Flynn's unhappy. I got space, they need space, I'm thinking... let's make a deal.

Gave the Wiz a call and we came to terms. Flynn and a pick swap for Powers and Crawford. Flynn's happy because he's on a new team. I'm happy because I got a bigger PG who is a potential offensive juggernaut. Looking at his rating his 3pt is only a 71 which is surprising because he was unconscious in the game against us. He is in the high 80's everywhere else though.

Now all I need is wing who can really get to the hole. I might trade Beasley or Chandler to get that player. I need some speed.

Anyone notice that on 2k11, Beasley is 6'9, 245, but on the Wolves website he is 6'10, 235?

Nope. Man I am loving this kid. I thought Flynn was good in this game lol. This guys is like I don't, I guess the best comparison is Steve Nash but with better D and less passing ability.

I'm rolling w/

Ellis/Rubio
Wes/Malcolm Lee
Beasley/Afflalo
AR15/Tolliver
Bogut/Biyombo

team is boss, whoever made Biyombo made him a low post scoring monster. Actually everybody is a low post scoring monster come to think of it. I can adjust the ratings, but then they'll just miss gimme's, the problem is that the post moves are way too effective

Depth chart at start of 2011-12 season

Rubio / Ridnour
W. Johnson / R. Bell* / Ellington
Beasley / Webster / L. Hayward
Love / A. Randolph / Tolliver
Favors* / Milicic / Pekovic

Had the 7th best lottery chances, but somehow got the number 1 pick.

*Traded #1, Flynn, 2nd for Favors, Bell (Utah chose Jeremy Lamb)

I accidentally loaded the 2012 rookies for the 2011 draft, so I will have to use the 2011 rookies in the second draft

Lol.

Well just played my first game with my new acquisition.

Played the Nuggets and it was a blow out. After about halfway through the third the bench came in for the rest of the game. I only played my new rook in the second half to get familiar with him as a player.

My players actually rebounded for once. Brady, my center, got 10 points and 11 boards 3 blocks in 26 minutes. Love had 14 and 12. Randolph off the bench had 17 and 6.

Happy to report my rookie had an incredible debut. 26 points, 3 rebounds, 9 dimes, and 4 steals. Everybody played great D. My Center just changes so many shots. Also, we traded Pek and a pick for Camby. Camby is a nice expiring and he brings some D. He had 3 blocks in about 10 minutes.

We might be ready for a finals appearance.

How is Wes working out for you guys as a starter?

In Rubio's first preseason game, he put up 6 points (2-5 shooting), 5 rebounds, 9 assists (3 turnovers), 1 steal. (Note: 5 minute quarters, so Ricky played 16 minutes). Beasley and Johnson paced the team with 10 points each in the 47-40 win over Charlotte (Remember, only 5 minute quarters)

Whenever I play with him, hes a beast. Usually plays like a number one scorer. In simulation, usually averages 10 ppg, but always seems to end up on both the All-Rookie First Team and one of the All-NBA defensive teams as a rookie.

Hmmm... I might have to give him more minutes. I love Chandler but I'm thinking him and Beasley might be a little redundant. I need a quicker 2.

Team Fortress 2 is an amazing game. It's like COD....But teambased. It's over three years old and still gets substantial updates by the developer, Valve (new weapons, maps). To top it all off all of the updates are free.

Not to mention it's fun as hell. Amazing game.

I should note that the updates are only for the PC version, but if you guys ever wanna try a new multiplayer game this would be my first suggestion

I ended up trading Favors/Ridnour for Lopez/Farmar. Simming through my season, a couple of notable games...

http://community.2ksports.com/community ... 81&g=46835

Laker game - Love/Lopez combine for 38/32.
Piston game - Rubio dishes career-high 17 assists.

I tried to the demo on xbox but I just couldn't get into it. I'm sick of shooters anyway and only play Battlefield 3 sometimes online. Done with Halo for a long while. The only shooters I am interested in playing are ones with good single player campaigns. I heard Crysis 2's is pretty good.

Yeah again, PC is the definitive version. It's pretty much a different game now when compared to the release:

Anyways...I just played Half Life 2 recently and that was good, especially Episode 2. I've heard FEAR and STALKER are good, as well. I'm not too big of an FPS fan though

same here, he's a monster for me. Definitely leads the team in monster facials. Guys go up to block his shot and he just hangs in the air, cocks it back, AND YAMS ALL OVER THEIR CROWNS. I want to change his release though, it looks kind of dumb to me and isn't smooth.

Ellis is absurdly effective too, that guy finishes through all kinds of contact in the paint. Free throw shooting is garbage though. I use the Real FT% setting. I like letting the percentages dictate that and it saves me time because I hate stoppages in the game, so I can just mash the shoot button and get through the free throws real quick.

Hot damn. No class until June, so I might actually have time for gaming in the next few weeks. Uncharted 2, you are finally going down.

In 2K11, how do you guys get by defenders. I can never seem to shake my defender. At the same time, how do you stay on your man on D. It seems overly hard to contest a player going east to west or vise versa.
