Farnsworth enters with Lind on deck and Price is pissed.

If Lind hits a HR here, hilarious.

Why would we take the base w/ 2 out and needing 2 runs? Makes no sense!
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

1 run, glad these scrubs didn't go into the negatives. Can't expect more with such an atrocious lineup.

They were giving up the base. Nobody was covering it...defensive indifference.

Anyway, doesn't look like having Romero today would have mattered at all. And that makes 12 straight series losses in Tampa.

True, but there's always a slight chance he gets caught. I wouldn't even risk it. If they only needed the one run, and they aren't covering, sure, go for it.

If they only needed just the 1 run, I'm sure they wouldn't run in the 1st place with 2 outs (and at the same time, the Rays wouldn't concede the runner)

so they end the road trip 5-5.. that's not bad considering the opponents.. however 6-4 wouldn't looked soooooo much nicer :(

had the tying run again in the 9th. that's good to keep it close

5-5 on this road trip is pretty good. let's start winning some home stands and get this team above .500

This team doesn't often get blown out. With the pathetic state of hitting they've gone through, and the less than stellar starting pitching, it's a miracle they've been in so many games. It's a good quality to have, but I wish we were doing it with a bunch of young guys instead of the veteran scrub parade we've been marching out all season.
