Here's a video that's quite disturbing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5Q0oUH8lEc
At 4:00, the guy asks a question.
If you see Joe's response, he says yes, but shakes his head know, which is involuntary and a good indicator of his true feelings (obviously they want to leave, but they were screwed over).
Why the hell won't they sell!?

Re: Joe Maloof Interview
I thought I read something awhile back saying the Kings lost money last season? I thought that was part of the reason the Maloofs looked into Anaheim?

In regards to the question Maloof was asked about the citys cooperation, he stole Sterns answer. He doesnt have an answer he can say on tv cuz it would go something like this " F**k that Mayor we totally had a deal set with my boy Heff in the OC, now im stuck in cow town" lmao

Business can turn a profit into a loss and vice versa depending on what they want to spin. I need a loan, look at my profitable business. I need to pay taxes, look at how much we lost last year. It's a joke.

Re: Joe Maloof Interview
They want KJ & Sacramento to keep their promise and build a new arena, or the King's move?
Okay. I'm fine with that.
But why don't you keep your end of the promise as well and win a championship and spend money for a winner?
How about if we don't build you an arena in the next 2-3 years you move. If you don't win a title in the next 2-3 years you sell.

Re: Joe Maloof Interview
Well, that's kind of what they're saying they're going to do. I just hope they don't go out and make mistakes because of the pressure to appear like they're doing something. Sometimes it's better to just let things develop rather than going on a spending spree and changing things that may not need to be changed.
Come into next season with your foundation in tact, another legit talent via the draft, and that SF hole plugged with a veteran and things should be just fine.
