Stop Bashing Bosh
What more do Heat fans want out of your third offensive option? Bosh plays with arguably the 2 best players in the NBA, Lebron & Wade, which can create their own offense whenever and he still averages 17.7 PPG and 9.5 rebounds. I am very happy with Bosh's production because he is playing with 2 of the top 5 scorers in the league and doesn't get as many touches as he should. The only thing I would like to see is for him to bulk up a little.

Bosh is playing the best defense of his career right now and he's hustling the hardest he's ever hustled in his life probably. He gets nothing but respect from me so far in the playoffs.

Re: Stop Bashing Bosh
This team has been under an unprecedented amount of criticism all season, it is amazing where we are based on the events of this season. I have never seen a team under a microscope as much as this team. But, they have kept their cool, weathered many storms, and are poised to do something very special. I personally have been impatient with eric and others, but through it all, I am proud of this team.
When you look back on the teams of the 80's and 90's I am amazed at some of the flaws seen, that would definitely be overly criticized today, so we are, or I am grateful as a Heat Fan, to have most of the league against us, and we still rise to the occasion.
Thanks Bosh for your efforts, hustle and honesty - thanks heat team for keeping the season interesting, exciting, fresh and stressful.
p.s. I reserve the right to blow a gasket before the end of these playoffs.

i love what bosh has brought to the table this season. can he attack the rim more? sure he can but hes constantly open off the pick and pop and thats arguably his best shot. no matter what anyone says hes been our most consistent defender and help defender and hes improved his rebounding as the season has progressed. bosh is the cog that runs this machine, to simply put it, if bosh plays well we win, numbers dont lie.
we just have a bunch of overreacters on this board due to the outside pressure and criticism the heat recieve

Bosh has done a great job on D and with rebounding. The only thing I want to see from him is to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim more. Other than that he's doing a great job.

Re: Stop Bashing Bosh
ONLY player who deserves to be bashed is Mike Miller if he doesn't get his act together next year.I'll let him slide this year due to injuries. Also I always loved Chris Bosh as a Miami Heat fan I just want to say sorry to "The Warden" Joel Anthony. He really gained my respect and if can turn into a Ben Wallace and I'll totally go buy a Jersey of his for everyone loll

Re: Stop Bashing Bosh

Sooo many threads like these this year. Arrrgh! He didn't get 20 points and 12 rebounds !!! To the forum let me write my rant!! Yes Bosh did an excellent job today a double double, let me go to the forum and
give him praise and defend his honor!!

Way too much hate on Bosh throughout the season with analysts, fans etc... The truth is that he is a great PF top 5 and he's shown that consistently throughout his years in the NBA, Olympics etc... The reason he's rebounding declined is getting used to rotations and the fact that some of the defensive scheming puts him in a bad rebounding position. And there's this guy called Lebron who grabs some of those rebounds

Finally you can't expect him to turn into a beast every game, he's a finesse type player reading the post throughout this season you would think he's Amare and that he's slacking off.... Obviously at games he doesn't go to the post often enough and at some times doesn't score enough but most of the time he is consistent.
Also he's the third offensive option on the team, he's playing with some of the most ball dominant wing players in the NBA he understands and he adapts. If you want him to score 20+ every game you need to feed him and he has to be one of the first options on the team.
He's also done a superb job on adapting to being a third wheel, he might not score as much as his previous years so he works on other things like improving defense, pick and roll d and hustle.
But lets be honest unless you have a flashy game like Griffin or Amare people will always bash players like Bosh and Gasol. Also how many players in the Nba would accept going from the face of a franchise to a third option? Bosh has been great and there haven't been any chemistry issues regarding this!
You would think people would figure out what Bosh brings to the table but we still have these kinds of threads in the playoffs

Re: Stop Bashing Bosh
Bosh has been playing superb D, which is much more vital to the Heat's success than the amount of points he scores.
However, it seems as though some people aren't too happy about Bosh's production on the offensive end, but I'd say those frustrations are due to limited opportunities for Bosh as opposed to the belief that he is sucking like Mike Miller. It could be argued that Bosh is the Heat's most efficient and consistent scorer on the Heat, and his production can at times dictate how good the Heat look in the half court. He has the most consistent jumper of the big three, and is the closest thing the Heat has to a legit post option.
I personally wish Bosh would receive more opportunities to score. After the Heat went on a five game losing streak Bosh started demanding the ball, and claimed he could play like a big man as opposed to serving as a bail out shooter. Bosh followed up his words with 24 points 9 rebounds against the Lakers, and his full offensive arsenal was on display with him aggressively taking it to the hole and suddenly finding himself the recipient of more passes when he'd roll to the basket. The Bosh that kept shooting jumpers to finish 1-18 from the floor against the Bulls no longer existed. This was a different dinosaur.
Sadly, as the weeks began to pass the opportunities for Bosh began to diminish. I would like to see Bosh get some more possessions where he gets a chance to be the focal point of the offense, and I'd especially like to see the Heat get him more involved when they find themselves unable to buy a basket. Bosh may be the third option, but it is in the team's best interest to remember that he is an All Star PF and not just a taller Haslem. Don't be afraid to feed the Bosh.

Re: Stop Bashing Bosh
Everyone can get bashed on.. just because he does well doesnt mean there isnt room to improve and things he can do better with his game. He needs to attack more and be more aggressive and get to the line. We want him to bang instead of settling for jumpers all the time.
Nobody on this team is exempt from scrutiny. Wade has his lapses on defense he needs to fix and Lebron needs to work on moving without the ball on offense when Wade has the ball and stop settling for long jumpers at times.
Just cause I and maybe we pick at their game doesnt mean I dont appreciate when they bring currently.

Bosh has played KG to a stalemate (or even outplaying him) so far in this series. Sure he could be more aggressive but Im not bashing him.

I think people are judging the guy based off of stats alone. He is active in the game and making plays. Still can't figure out why people are complaining. The effort is there. Is he expected to play like a superstar at all times?

This clown deserves to be bashed.
Dude is a straight bitch and if he proves me wrong than I'll take the heat for it here on the boards but ever since Game 3 of that 76ers series Elton Brand started destroying him and KG was just off but finally got his groove back to usually destroy Bosh in this Celtics series.
If he keeps being Christina Bosh then get this clown out of the squad so we can get some pieces like a decent starting pg and decent center.

I'm one of the biggest Bosh homers and I can see what people would call him out after today. Not only did he play scared but he wasn't active on defense and was always a few steps behind on everything. Knowing Bosh, he'll come out firing in game 4!
