That's complete crap and you know it. He said he had some trepidation about coming back to coaching partly because of Kobe's knee and the age of his players. He never blamed the losses on those. He even gave credit to the Mavs for being a better, more talented team.

First 2 minutes in the interview he brought up the knee and players being old. So what was the point of bringing it up? Not once in this whole interview has he said "I didn't have my players ready".

This series had nothing to do with the matchups, the Lakers just woosied out. They gave up completely. All the players including Kobe. That was one of the biggest disgrace i seen a team perform in the playoffs ever. Everyone gave Lebron hell for his performance last year, this was ten time worse. Kobe and his entire squad quit. Period.
