I don't know what history you're reading. PJ was run out of town by the Bulls management, he was basically hated by our GM at the time, Krause.

Not sure why you're trying to slander a great coach.

Gotta say Kobe is simply a classy guy. Can't hold nothing against him - too bad he has such sons of bitches for teammates. But I think one could hear from his comments he's about as mad and disappointed about them, too.

Explain this last stint with the Lakers then. 34 wins the year and no playoffs the year before Phil came in. 5 playoffs 3 Finals and 2 rings his next 5 years.

I've never read about that in any of the conversations. He still has coached a team with a superstar every season of his career. I want to see him coach a real rebuilding team for once.

The truth of the matter is, the Bulls didn't need to rebuild. That 99 season was so short. They could have played those 50 games easily and did a 4 peat.

They still had Kobe so I'd hardly say they were a rebuilding team. Take Kobe off that team and we'll see whether he would have come back.

Him coaching a team with a starting lineup that had Smush Parker, Kwame Brown and Luke Walton in 2005 is a retooling job. They got Gasol a couple of years later.

And its well known that Krause ran out Phil. He went said that he didnt care if Jackson went 82-0 and won the title, he would be fired.
