I'll be honest. I've never been a Mavs fan (except for the 2006 Finals), but Peja is my favorite player and I hope you guys win a title for him.

I've had times when I have been so mad at a Mavs loss I couldn't find words to say out of all the frustration but what we did today leaves me leaves me speechless seeing the complete domination that we had. I'm such a huge proud Mavericks fan today ! Thanks you Mavs and TAKE DAT WIT CHEW !!!

Right as Dirk face palmed himself.

Dirk's, Rick's and Jackson's interviews were funny. Kobe's showed real class. I have never really had too much respect for Kobe other than as a competitor, but I respect him a little more as aperson after he checked on Barea after the game and the comments he has had in his post game interviews.

Congrats Mavs! I cannot state how awesome and nuts the crowd was today. Constant cheering and nosie making. Chants of Sweep LA. Nanana song in the final 2 minutes. I've never seen a Mavs crowd like this. THey were into the game throughout with nobody leaving. Well worth the drive up here for the game and now I get to drive 4 hours back happy.

Plus he was very outspoken about the fouls saying basically this is just embarassing and has nothing at all to do with sports and that you never wanna see stuff like that ever.

Throughout this series he gained quite some props from me. He truly is a great player and person.

I have been baby-sitting my grandkids from 6 minutes left in the 4th until a few minutes ago, away from the game and the internet. I knew how it turned out, but haven't been able to post until now. This has been the weirdest series for me ... first 2 in LA, couldn't watch the end, the 4th game, couldn't watch the end, couldn't post after, didn't see any post-game comments.

Apparently I have to continue staying away from the games while being played. I do not like this.

I'm still shocked. Just very shocked, and very happy.

Like Chandler said, we're halfway there. Keep the focus.

Man, are Odom and Bynum gonna be embarrassed once they cool down.

That's all I can think of right now.

I'm with you mffl_14, sometimes the Mavs get to me so much that I can't stand them, and today I can't be more prouder than I am being a MFFL!

Loved that we made some history on Phil Jackson, who I think is the greatest coach of all time.

Those two dirty plays made at the end were uncalled for, and props up to Kobe to be real classy in the post game interview.

Last thing is a lot of people is rooting for us, at least what i read from all the posts. I hope we stay focused on the next round, and take care of business and we will go from there.

Its been almost 8 hrs after the game, and I still cannot believe what we did to these Lakers. Not only beat them, but dismantle them as a team; and now there talking about trading everyone and blowing it up. First time we made it happen to the other team.

The one negative for me has been Marion, i'm not sure what's going on with him but hes going to have to step it up the rest of the way if the Mavs want the title.

I think this is almost bitter sweet from the 1988 Mavs who lost to the underdog Lakers.

He had some problems with the Lakers length up front. He'll be fine. That's just even more encouraging that we haven't had all players pla well so far.

Oh really? I did not know that, the Lakers were the underdog with Kareem and Magic? Woah!

And Macho I think Marion will be fine, I am thinking like dirkrules_41 and it was the Lakers big lineup that caused him problems. He will be fine. That is actually a good thing because this still hasn't been a complete showing of what the Mavs can become.
