This just might be the best thing to happen to humanity in a long time. The Lakers and their "fans" needed a dose of humility in the worst way. They were getting a bit too big for their boots. The bandwagon now gets a lot lighter but ultimately it's for the greater good of RealGM and basketball fandom everywhere.

I'm a Laker fan and I don't really understand why Terry has a bad wrap. I like the way he speaks during in-game interviews, he's always fired up yet well spoken at the same time

Seeing all of these people take shots at Kobe vis a vis Michael Jordan wouldn't do this, and he wouldn't do that....what is the mindset behind this? Thats like if when last year the Mavs got beat by the Spurs people said "Larry Bird would never....".

No rational person seriously thinks Kobe is equal to Jordan. Who are you trying to bodyshot? Trolls? Not measuring up to Michael Jordan is not an insult.

What if I'd told you before the game that LA's starters would outscore the Mavs' starters 49-36 ... and that the Lakers would lose by 36?

Kobe came out firing - 13 in close 1st q. Then 4 rest of way, couldn't finish. Aging legs, out of gas.

Sadder watching Kobe on last legs than Phil's debacle of probable last game. Hard to feel sorry for a guy who had MJ, Shaq, Kobe, Gasol.
