LMAO, how hard is it to understand you a**holes. Its an observation, not a justification or explanation.
Yeah it's a terrible observation, that's why everyone thinks you're ridiculous.

Re: Bynum's Suspension
If this was a game 7, or even a closely contested game, I could understand a really hard foul in the heat of the moment. But this was straight up thuggery in a blowout loss. Bynum could have broken JJ's wrist, or worse, which is really what this is all about, someone's career. As a repeat offender the book should be thrown at Bynum. He should receive a punishment that guarantees he never does this again. 20 games sounds like a good start. He'll get 5 tho, because the league is run by a bunch of PR whores.

I saw ten games at least. This guy punctured Wallace's lung, it was miracle Beasley didn't break his arm on his fall, and its a wonder Barrea wasn't seriously hurt. This guy is trying to hurt people and a message needs to be sent by the league that these types of dirty, potentially career-altering or ending assaults will not be tolerated.

I did NOT say that Barea pushing Blake made it OK for Bynum to foul him. I obviously think Bynum was wrong, and will be suspended, I was just making an observation that I thought he was retaliating.
You said that Barea was not completely innocent in this. Sounds like you're trying to say that he was at least partially asking to get cheap shotted.
You're right. I'll back track on the "he's not completely innocent" part. The point I was making is that Bynum is already frustrated at that point. He sees Barea with the push off on Blake and doesn't take to kindly to that. So when Barea drives, he fouls him hard. Its just an observation that I was pointing out. I'm not trying to justify it or explain it.

Re: Bynum's Suspension
I put this right up there with the Pistons-Pacers brawl as far as embarassment for the league. This happened on a national TV on a holiday with many people who would not normally be tuning in. It made the NBA look like a bunch of animals.
I don't care who thinks I'm over-reacting. Let me tell you something I'll be 50 next year. I was one of those guys who would shovel the snow off the court just to play when I was youngster. I say F this punk and his disrespect for the game. He needs to made an example of.
He can't get let off easier than Birdman.
Expulsion from the league effective immediately.

Please tell me what I said that was wrong? I don't get how stating an observation (fact) is wrong. I said Barea pushed Blake (fact). Bynum saw that and when Barea drove fouled him.

Dirtiest player in the NBA? This guy is clearly a hot head. Many other players play dirty, but no one going for the kill like him.

He could have take out Barea for weeks, leaving the Mavs without a backup PG for Jason Kidd and ruin their championship run...

What your the guy!FaithPuppeteer wrote:Waaaah, poor Michael Measly. Dude only stands out what little he does because of the black hole of a team he's on. Excessive suspension.
You'd think that wigwam Measley is sporting would've protected his head as it bounced off the court anyways.FaithPuppeteer wrote:League should double Bynum's pay for two games for shutting Measly's mouth.

Stating that a shove on Blake caused this is wrong... but wait... we are a**holes according to you because we think it is ridiculous to point to a single shove as the reason why Bynum was a punk and took out Barea.
In the end, we are a**holes and and can't see what you see.... gotcha.

Re: Bynum's Suspension
OK, ya'll got me on the defensive, so let me backtrack a bit and clarify myself.
First, I was in no way blaming Barea. I think the foul was completely uncalled for and Bynum should be suspended.
All I did was make an observation.
Barea had the push on Blake. With already built up tension and frustration, Bynum sees that and does not take too kindly to it. Barea drives, and Bynum fouls him.
I am just making an observation and inferring as to why Bynum may have done it. I didn't say he was right in doing so and I didn't say it was the definite reason for the foul.

Don't waste your time with this LALegend. He truly believes whatever he observes is the truth, and bar none, and is unwilling to take a step back and take off his homer glasses. Then he berates us for not agreeing. And we're the so called a-holes.

Basketball 101 says if you flop you deserve to get dropped. I don't wish injury upon anyone but given that he has a history of flopping it was only a matter of time before someone dropped Barea for his antics.
It was a dirty play and Bynum should be fined / suspended for it but I have no sympathy for J.J. Barea.

Or you know, la is getting blown out and Bynum was pissed for not getting the ball and well, decided to take it out on Barea.

Man, maybe I'm just not being clear enough. What I said was, Bynum may have seen that push and reacted. Did I ever say it was the definite reason? NO. It was an observation. And you saying that the push didn't prompt the foul is just as wrong as saying it did. How do you know? Are you Andrew Bynum? Who knows what he was thinking at the time. How do you know he didn't see that push and it just put him over the edge? You don't. I don't. That's why I was just making the observation.
Lastly, I was out of line with the a**holes remark. Can we please get over it now? I thought you were a moderator, not an instigator.
